Another year of LVL has gone by and wow, what a time it’s been 🥹 We got to play numerous festivals and events that have been on our bucket list, performed in places we had never been to before, and released our first track!

LVL 004: Two Year Anniversary Mix

We came across a D.Mo dance floor at Basscoast Festival 2024 and were immediately drawn to the high energy, sub-frequency sounds that had festival goers moving. After an hour of dance floor sweatiness, we knew we had to have D.Mo on our mix series. 

D.Mo a.k.a Brent D. Mosher is a Toronto-based artist whose sounds encompass UK garage, house, and breaks. Originally from Vancouver, D.Mo combines his West Coast upbringing with the sounds of UK dance music to create a unique blend of lush synths and substantial sub-lines.

The past two years have seen D.Mo solidify his musical direction with his “Ripple Effect” EP on Howitzer Records, numerous floor-filling remixes, and a slew of independent releases. This includes the single “Smoke and Mirrors”, previously showcased on Bass Coast’s “12 Days of Bass Coast” compilation album. D.Mo’s sonic palette seamlessly shifts between ethereal, airy moments, and hefty low-end groove. This style has brought him across Canada performing at many festivals and clubs including Bass Coast, Samsara, and Neon Jungle.

D.Mo plays this Friday (10/11) and Sat (10/12) here in BC so if you like this mix be sure to check out his sets this weekend.
