Shortly after the release of Cielo Aya by Liquid Bloom, Savej and Gracia Maria, rising artists Equanimous and DISSOLV join the project with two new remixes. Equanimous leads with a downtempo take, adding in ethereal underlying soundscapes, the use of handpans, and editing Savej’s Kargyraa vocals into a beatbox break. DISSOLV alters the track with experimental bass elements, 

Cielo Aya is an Icaro, which is a medicine song passed down through generations of curanderos (Ayahuasca shamans), or taught directly to these shamans from the plants themselves during dietas or periods of isolation with Ayahuasca. Savej’s first time hearing this particular icaro was during an ayahuasca ceremony. When Savej came across Gracia (vocalist on track) singing it, he connected with Gracia to get her blessing to use this magical icaro in a track. Savej sent her his field recorder, and she recorded herself singing it during a ceremony. Connecting with Liquid Bloom, they combined their sounds and polished it to pay homage to Ayahuasca and the ancestral culture.  Proceeds from this release will be going to both Futuro Nativo and Alianza Arkana. Futuro Nativo supports sustainable economic growth in indigenous Amazonian communities and Alianza Arkana is a grass-roots alliance protecting the Peruvian Amazon by supporting its people and traditions.

The Chikara Project is back once again with another impressive release. We were so stunned by how great this release was we couldn't chose just one track to premiere. Our first choice is a collaboration with Jack Flynn - Oakley (FKA as JFO). Without even listening to this tune we knew it was going to be good. Two names we have seen work together before, and two very strong names on their own. This deep sound system rumbling tune is complimented with dark mid basses accompanied by melodic soundscapes. Contrasting both a light and dark sound that makes you truly feel something.

I'm very excited to finally start sharing this set of music with you all via @cimmerianrecords. I Have been playing all of these out for the past year with many people asking about them!

Today I'm bringing you the first single from the EP. If you pre-order the EP through Bandcamp, you get this track today! 
"Fair Transaction" is a dark and grimey tune focused for the dancefloor, featuring vocals from the UK badman himself, Rakjay. @rakjayuk

The rest of the EP features the solo title track "Acheron", "Aura"  with MAE B on vocals and "Cerbarus" a three way Collab between myself, Internal Frequency & MAC. 

This 4 track EP is the Succession to my debut "Oceanus EP" from last year, following the theme of Greek Mythology with the title track "Acheron".
In ancient Greek mythology, Acheron was known as the "river of woe", the "river of pain" or the "river of lost souls" and was one of the five rivers of the Greek underworld.
