Hello Friends,

thank you for listening Klankargitektuur Podcast 31. At the first part you will get my DJ Mix. The second part was mixed by GhostOnAcid. 

GhostOnAcid plays since many years as a dj. His roots are located in the psychedelic sound of Goa Trance. So he played at many Goa parties and festivals like Odyssee, Antaris, Freqs of Nature, Frühlingszaubertraum and so on. He also organizes own parties with the Return Of The Sun in Berlin.
Nowadays GhostOnAcid style is a mixture of Trance, Goatrance, Breaks and Hypnotic fast (Acid) Techno.

With his own producions he is closes to Goatrance and sometimes classic Early-Trance ('90-'95). Each new track he made tells a new story. He tries to compose memorable melodies, find new sounds, create a unique atmosphere. He don´t uses samples. All is made with hard- and software, analog and digital synthesizers and drum computers.

 As an established artist, Rommek has expanded his own sound, carving his way into the current techno and experimental scenes since 2013.  His extensive interest in sound design is crafted within the cinematic atmospheres, heavy broken rhythms and electrifying tones found within his productions. 

Rommek joined the seminal Blueprint Records in 2016, releasing five EPs, gaining remixes from label owner James Ruskin, Broken English Club, O/V/R (Ruskin & Regis) and Makaton, which established his position on the map. Since then, a steady output of releases on Tommy Four Seven’s 47 imprint, Leyla Records, Natural Selection, Mord, Hex and collaborative release with the Spanish duo NX1 has expanded his discography. 
 
Since releasing over 15 EP's, Rommek has gained a wide range of noteworthy support, from BBC Radio 1, to features and reviews in Mixmag, The Wire, The Quietus and Fuze magazine. In 2018 he was featured within the top 100 globally charted artists on Resident Advisor. Furthermore, as a touring DJ, he has played extensively around the globe from iconic venues such as Tresor in Berlin, Printworks in London, Warehouse Elementenstraat in Netherlands, LAB Madrid and several across the Americas. From this, it’s clear that Rommek is driven to continue expanding his capabilities and keep things moving forward.

Seit ein paar Jahren ist LXbeat auch als Produzent tätig und hat in 2023 seinen ersten Track „Don´t Forget to Dream“ auf Babiczstyle veröffentlicht. In seiner Musik verarbeitet er viele Einflüsse, die sich in seinen heutigen Tracks widerspiegeln. Er ist immer auf der Suche nach neuen Klängen und Inspirationen.
