5IVE – I wrote this song as a way to ground myself when I’m feeling down. It’s built around five questions I always ask myself to put life into perspective and figure out what I need to do to lift myself out of dark places.

Musically, it’s a raw, percussive fusion with heavy taiko drums, chain clanks, and deep bass, layered with sparse electric guitar. The chorus opens up with group chants, cinematic pads, and bold trombones, and the bridge drives forward with a dramatic taiko solo. It’s meant to feel both grounding and expansive — like a conversation with yourself, but in full cinematic sound.

This is me checking in with myself and inviting anyone listening to do the same.
