New Day Everyday is handling the hot flames of the coming summer with this new ‘cold as ice’, ‘hard as a rock’, ‘don’t-tell-your-mother’ piece of a compilation.

Starts off in a wine cellar of some old mansion in east Germany and crawling over the light to a kinky beach in Spain, back to the dirty streets of Tel-Aviv. This diverse compilation has it all.

Ya Hala Ya Hala welcomes new faces to its roster. Israeli duo Rina X Benji makes their debut on the label with a stunning 4 tracks EP showcasing their unique and modern interpretations of dance music - praising the Tel - Avivian electronic music culture.

In the artists' own words;

You are beautiful - is the joy of rolling bass and a mesmerising flute ... creating this track as joyfully as possible because we are all beautiful especially when we are playful.

Lonesomeness - we came alone and we will go alone ... an attempt to capture a mystical moment of dancing that no one feels and sees.

Letter leather -  80's love story with a vocoder wearing a leather jacket Light melodic and shimmering - spiced with Arabic phrases from classic dance tracks.

Shineme - is our interpretation of a percussion extravaganza for connecting sections of our set with a tone that gets set the mood for us accompanied by a bass guitar that gives endless loopy groove we invited the "Flying Spoon" to sing on it but what was left on the track is some Tom Tom like singing and a note for self-love in Spanish.

One of the truly Italian masters of the dark synth scene is back with an explosive collection of new material via Cosmic Sumo Recordings. Tulioxi delivers 2 great tracks which sound huge and sophisticated. The artistic path of this musician is continuously updated with new steps of good taste, strength, and smart production.

The package sounds like a wall of new wave and post-punk visions mixed up with rolling rhythmics and cinematic percussions. Distorted guitars are present all along the development of the songs and themes come from his obsession with Sci-Fi cinema.

Tulioxi has always been recognized for his extensive use of modular synthesis in his music as we know well from his legendary live activity. The ability of this artist to use all this machinery in a very functional way It's really remarkable. Nothing is recorded by a chance. listening and dancing to these new works gives you the feeling that any aspect of the song is tied to the composition. Yes, with Tulioxi everything is where it must be.

Tel Aviv-based artist Yotam Russo (formerly known as Lott) signs to Local Suicide’s label Iptamenos Discos and announces his new ‘Twilight Zone Disko’ EP which will be out May 26th, 2023 on limited clear vinyl & digital. 

The 3-tracker is the Israelis most mature release to date and perfectly showcases his unique approach to modern electronic  dance music. Being known for his fusion of heavy drum machines with psychedelic guitars, acid melody-hooks and catchy  vocals he creates a rich spectrum of sound that takes listeners on a journey through a range of emotions and genres.Over time, he has cultivated a distinct style characterized by an optimistic and upbeat vibe that is both nostalgic and contemporary. In this EP he expands his creative expression by adding meaningful text that resonates with his audience, making his music a powerful vehicle for storytelling. Whether this be via performing live or in the studio, Russo innovatively blends genres from Indie Dance, Synthpop, Dark Disco to House & Acid often referring to bands like LCD Soundsystem, Soulwax or The Faint. 

The EP's title track & first single ‘Twilight Zone Disko' is a punk approach to disco, with distorted vocals, and hypnotic synths,  it aims to make the listener feel like they’re never alone on the dance floor. The track's gradual ascent is driven by a  combination of the drum machine's rhythmic beats and the alluring lyrics, resulting in a psychedelic sound. The ‘second single  ‘From The Speaker To The Right’ alludes to the desire of a young generation to dance and detach from the world outside of  the club. The track's progression is dictated by the drum machine, which interweaves, and is layered alongside, with evocative  synthetic sounds and jarring sound effects like sirens, creating a moody and captivating journey. The closer ‘Take Some Time'  is a homage to the desire to create, and the risks that come with following your passion. By incorporating prominent  psychedelic guitar riffs, the track exudes a punk rock energy that merges seamlessly with the funky beat. This blend of genres  results in a novel and dynamic sound that's both edgy and catchy.
