EP was written and produced by a musician from Utrecht, a regular guest of Operator Radio and the author of the digital release "Trans Atlantique" for Gestalt Records — Tifra.

He was also part of the team behind Cosmic Tones which in 2019 released 'Montreal Pleiades' featuring his first musical outing alongside local major players Priori, Dust-e-1, URA, Temple's M. Salaciak & R. Weng (the wizard behind our first release as Dj Medallion).

"Truckupidööm is rolling on basalt stones with an hypnotic inertia of a sensual mileage. The pleasures of trembling releases from her body plastic and more plastic, spring and another spring, metal and another metal. She sheds the industry’s father from herself and turns to mother earth, to the sand hall, to the whistles of camels, to the reddish threshold where sunrises are a burning fire, and silence is an azure eternity."

Individually Tel Aviv-based producers Olsvanger and MYKI have been firing out expertly crafted productions that connect the dots between their love of progressive trance and pumping classic house. It's no surprise that when they come together under the guise of Babylon X, the output is something to marvel at, and that goes for Truckupidööm,  the project's first full EP. Dropping via their own co-run label, Tofistock, the five tracks fuse the pair's love for old school house, trance, jazz and Mediterranean Arabic sounds, culminating in a batch of  "spooky desert rollers".

The 18th segment of Haŵs' sonic anthology comes from the US-born electronica wunderkid Anderson! After featuring on the label's 'Viral Syndicate' digital compilation series back in 2020, they had him in the crosshairs for a full release ever since.

The result? A brilliant 4 track EP filled with dynamic proggy goodness, acid squelches and intoxicating house rhythms, unmistakably inspired by the 90s and stamped with the signature Anderson sound.

The alarm clock buzzed loudly for the fifth time, as usual the snooze button had been exhausted for as long as she could get away with it. She rubbed the sleep from her eyes, squinting in the morning light that bathed her room. A familiar feeling of dread washed over her; one that didn’t seem to hit her on any other day of the week. The start of the week was always like this - uneventful and unproductive, a time for wallowing and indulging… all in all, just another average Monday.

Helsinki imprint Echocentric and Leipzig’s R.A.N.D. are joining forces for their next release, a dose of rhythmic proggy goodness from Lithuania-based producer Pletnev. Both labels know their onions - between them they’ve put out plenty of dance floor gems over the last few years from the likes of Abdul Raeva, DJ Life, Reflex Blue and Gnork.
