Latido records has its origin in the famous Mordisco Club parties (Granada, South of Spain) hosted by the dj duo and producers Mordisco (Atomnation, My Favorite Robots Records, Duro, Bedrocks, etc.). Artists such as John Talabot, Curses, Sascha Funke, Zombies in Miami, Red Axes or Jennifer Cardini among others have played at these parties. The Latido label is born from the characteristic sounds and influences of Mordisco Club.
The fourth volume of Latido is a journey through diverse ingredients and influences which range from techno or EBM to New Wave and the dark side of disco.
Lucare and Poulper's opening track, built around a disco-influenced bassline, with dark synth pads and electric guitar chords, gives way to Ivan de la Rouch, offering a broken rhythm with a powerful arpeggio and an electro flavor. Fugitiv is firmly committed to the post-punk and darkwave vibes of the 80s with aggressive and dramatic synts, before Álvaro Cabana closes the EP with force and momentum, giving a perfect artifact for lovers of arpeggiated sequences and expressive atmospheric melodies.

There were some landscapes that simply took your breath away; the kind that made you feel like a tiny speck on this thing we call planet earth. The canyon below was a sight to behold, its huge stone surfaces coated in tones of copper and green. If you squinted hard enough you could trace clusters of tiny humans exploring the winding paths, tunnels and bridges that littered the expanse. It felt somewhat magical or metaphysical; a natural wonder of the world...

It's been almost a decade since Italian producers Rodion and Fabrizio Mammarella teamed up for a collaborative EP on the latter's Slow Motion imprint. Like their first outing, Apennini, back in 2012 this new release proves yet again why these two are a perfect production pairing, fusing their shared love of synthesized melodies and machine-driven funk and disco. The duo continue this across their Sierra Madre EP, which was recorded in Mexico City with a guest appearance from Roam Records and Duro alumni Mijo, and backed by a rework from Italo-Belgian duo Front De Cadeaux.

With “Late Night Tortures” Latido welcomes the Italian producer Tulioxi with a pair of fantastic remixes courtesy of Roe Deers and Durand, who bring us their take on the Tulioxi's new Ep; a groovy and dark fusion of genres that fits perfectly in any kind of club or festival.
Tulioxi delivers three irresistible tracks that kick off nicely with 80s vibes. He moves effortlessly through cosmic melodies with a feeling of linear and minimal aesthetic reminiscent of italo, while the electric chords sit over percussive bases. A fantastic Ep with retro-futuristic tones.

As for the remixes, the second remix comes courtesy of the South of Spain based Durand, artist connected to electronic music from a very young age, developing an extensive career as a dj and club promoter and owner before starting to produce his own music only a couple of years ago. In this time he has already released excellent eps on Factor City, Nein Records, and one on Esthetique, played by the likes of The Hacker, Ivan Smagghe or Curses. In his remix for Tulioxi, Durand keeps the energetic vibes of the original alive with a pulsing bassline, sharp synths and overwhelming fx.

With "Late Night Tortures", Tulioxi manage to convey a message of musical relevance for a dystopian future where dancing will be a way of giving meaning to our lives. Not to be missed.

After his appearance on compilation 'Pals Volume 5' earlier this year, Chilean producer Aural Trace returns to Play Pal with 'Die Blaue Stunde'. Stepping aside from his work with production duo Random Atlas, to release Aural Trace examines themes which stretch from late night anxieties to metamorphosis and change. The three original tracks are complimented by remixes direct from the minds of Play Pal's dearest, including the the remix from Niv Ast  that ramps up 'Die Blaue Stunde' and we have the pleasure of airing today.

Team AEON is thrilled to announce the 5th edition of the Lost Tapes series where music of family members and newbies come together in one release.
The compilation will be released in 2 parts. As a subscriber and family member, you’ll get the full VA compilation including all 13 tracks in advance, exclusively!

Part 1:
We kick off the first part with a special: Italian artist Fabrizio Mammarella (one half of Black Spuma - with Lauer), who’s also well known for his skills as a remixer, releases his first solo track „Compumemory“ on AEON.
The young gun from Italy Amarcord is a true AEON family member now. His previous contributions are followed up with a punchy weapon called, „Momentum“.
We are also happy to welcome back our mysterious producer Futuristant with a nostalgic track in style and meaning „Before I miss you“. And Omri Smader with his hypnotic Italo club track „Seger Peger“, who’s latest releases on Blue Shadow & Correspondant caught a lot of attention.
These two are followed by contributions from two debutants. Berlin’s Parla (‘Permanent Vacation’), who’s bringing the early morning/afterhour burner „A World in Purple“ and Felkon from Germany with the clubby Italo shaker „Lytis“.
Last but not least, Silicodisco returns to AEON with a collaboration with DPAZ and created the retro, melodic, dark Italo dance track „Hellish Night“. A track that characterizes the both of them and the perfect track to welcome you to the second part of the Lost Tapes Vol. 5.

Part 2:
Following up on his successfull releases on Gerd Janson’s ‘Running Back’ and his latest EP on DJ Tennis’s label ‘Life & Death’, Alan Dixon kicks off part two with „Space Manoeuvres“.
AEON newbie Alex Virgo brings the Spring vibes with the happy track „Clown Car“.
After Machinegewehr’s well received „Nutant EP“ (AEON054), the Rotterdammer returns with another trippy Italo monster „Call the shots“.
Having already done a remix for „Serpentine“ by Darlyn Vlys, Micropacer is not new to the camp anymore. And we are happy to have him on board with his first solo track „The Magic Number“ on AEON.
Musumeci doesn’t need an introduction anymore. The Italian made his way in the industry with several hit remixes and solo productions on his own imprint „Multinotes“ (with Lehar) or „Permanent Vacation“, after being one of the first remixers on AEON almost a decade ago. His collaboration with Aldebaran on „Escamotage“ will stay in your ears for a while.
Hailing from Jakarta the 4th newbie Past Futura closes this 13 tracker VA with his „Viva La Discoteque“, which we couldn’t think of a better closing title in these difficult times.

Berlin-based Ombra International love all things post-punk and Italo disco, and they continue to represent that fusion in style on their 21st release. First up HLM brings a heavy wash of synths to 'En Ecailles' before Tony Y Not get into a twanging new wave vibe on 'How About Lily'. Kimshies has a sleazier sound to offer up, while Rees pushes all manner of vintage arpeggios at the behest of 'Lucifer's Tango'. That leaves it to Endrik Schroeder to finish the set with the atmospheric 'Rainy Days', a perfect tribute to washed out 80s post-punk with a strong dose of disco pumping in its veins.

The house had been barren for years, its moss covered front and cob-webbed windows an instant giveaway. That was until people came in to regenerate the town and suddenly life was breathed into the home once again. Its inside had been refurbished and its windows replaced, but beyond the beautiful facade and the freshly painted walls, there was a sense that something had happened here before; something terrible that would continue to inhabit the house regardless of its revived state.

Amsterdam's Sinchi Collective have spotlighted a ton of new producers from across the globe through their Altered States compilation series, all while raising money for the Sinchi Foundation, which supports Indigenous peoples worldwide. For the sixth volume they bring on board a roster of fresh artists who are bubbling under the surface in their respective cities. The likes of Terra de Ovnis, Sinchi Collective co-founder Ilmo, DeepMe and A-Tweed feature, amongst others, all bringing their own dark and psychedelic flavours that span icy electro, techno-disco and cosmic synth jams.

The 78th reference of the Golden Sould comes from their partner Azaria and their Brazilian colleague Hoochie Coochie Papa, who join forces to present "Aventador ep".

An ep with an acid character and uptempo bpm in between chugging and slow, these rhythms will introduce you to a direct trance, commemorating that the sun and the summer months are already here. These two guys of the waves, elevate the rave sound to the next level, two powerful energetic cuts and in acid key elaborated from Madrid & Brazil, what a combination.
