Pagan has been quietly building repute as one of Ireland and the UK’s most exciting up and comers, building a sonic palette that weaves in and out of trance-like euphoria, gun finger breaks and vibrant techno; tied together with an overwhelming sense of largeness. 

With recent plaudit pick-ups from some of the UK’s most exciting underground artists (Breaka, Denham Audio, DJ Boring, X-Coast) for his high-energy blend of low ceiling, low lighting world building, Pagan readies the release of the inaugural EP on Cheeky Music Group sub-label RRRAAAVVVEEE.

‘Butterfly’ kicks things off with a cut of introspective breaks; tranced-out melodies creating a sense of hair-raising emotion and vastness - a perfect peak-timer for those little personal moments of awe on the dance floor. ‘Ways You Went’ is a 50/50 blend of hard dance and classic trance: pounding rhythms and fun melodies scoring the silliness, before having to wipe your cut knuckles clean from punching the roof too hard.

‘The Depot’ brings back memories of Irish heads in packed-out basements; that sense of largeness steadily building amongst inspired energy, trance-techno and unapologetic UK bassline, before ‘Dreams of You’ casts a grey cloud speckled with dying sunlight into the frame with its ambient techno aesthetic and thoughtful emotion.

With recent releases with Belfast’s ‘Plain Sailing' and ‘Zone Focus’, Tyvion Valentine is back with another killer 4 track EP, as he joins the Brighton based label, Plaza.

Tyvion Valentine has quickly built himself a reputation as one of the most unique artists to come out of Dublin in recent times. With his own emotional take on the iconic sounds of UK garage and bass, Tyvion’s productions stand out from the crowd consistently.

The talented Dublin based producer Tyvion Valentine demonstrates a hugely mature and polished sound for his latest 'Essence' EP, which drops on Brighton based Plaza Records on June 18th.

Today we premiere the 4th track from the EP entitled 'Vocal Loop VIP', which is a euphoric, club-ready track, boasting a lush female vocal melody throughout, paired with a polished rolling bass-line. 

Once again Tyvion Valentine showcases his unique production style through his emotions take on modern dance music.

Australia’s Human Movement readies ‘Clutch!’ EP for HOMAGE this November. In recent years, Eora/Sydney-based Human Movement has been making waves, steadily picking up support from tastemakers such as Logic1000, Eris Drew, D. Tiffany, as well as heavy rotation across BBC Radio 1. Effortlessly flickering between leftfield atmospherics and unadulterated rave and breaks, Human Movement cements his party-starting sensibilities across the energetic ‘Clutch!’ EP for NYC staple HOMAGE. Leading the release is the much anticipated ‘Rude Boi’, which has been lighting up online ID forums. Combining squelching basslines, raved-up breaks, and piercing synth stabs, the track is a no-holds-barred slammer. Following is ‘Lody’s Hips’, with bouncing low end, piano licks, and electro-tinged drums forming a grooving backdrop for dusty vocal samples. On the flip, ‘Slim Lim’ charges ahead with a murky groove laden with slinky leads and hyped vocal chops. Closing out the release, the mysterious Ozzy remixes ‘Lody’s Hips’, flipping the original into a wonky concoction of melodic flair and woozy sound design to round out another all-star EP from HOMAGE. Since 2017, HOMAGE has remained a go-to imprint for upfront party sounds. Run by House Of Yes residents Ryan Clover & Fabi Jugo, the label has released music from Cinthie, Kettama, Ben Gomori, Teakup, and more. Human Movement ‘Clutch!’ drops on 19th November via HOMAGE.

After years of being lost at sea, the ancient scrolls containing the long sought after fragments of X-Coast were discovered. It was decided that the transcripts be pressed onto plates and scattered throughout the realms, so that the age-old knowledge may never be forgotten.

On the front side of the disc, we deciphered two XTC transmissions. The first, "XTC I" dates from the original session. The second is the final attempt known to us, "XTC V".

The reverse side unfolds with an interpretation of "XTC V" by the prophet known as Foamek, who brings it to new, uncharted reaches of euphoria. The next scroll, titled "Horns" is a real collector's gem, played just once before during the inaugural X-Coast Boiler Room - transmission Belgrade.

The plate ends with what we believe is the first X-Coast session ever recorded. Simply called "Horizon”, it was evident that the inhabitants of the island stumbled upon something legendary.

This is a one-time opportunity to obtain the scrolls. Do not let them fall into the wrong hands!

IMOGEN returns to Sunil Sharpe’s Earwiggle imprint, this time with Ben Pest for their first full release together, ‘Volts’, out today. Over the four tracks, the pair showcase their diverse style as crossover the realms of raw techno and UK hardcore, channeling volcanic energy. ‘Shibooty’ is a perky take on Chi-town techno with cartoonish vocal sequences, humming bass and elevated funk levels. It’s a groover!

IMOGEN is a resident at NTS and fabric and has previously released on femme culture, HE.SHE.THEY, Lobster Theremin amongst others. Bristol-based artist Ben Pest has collaborated with Radioactive Man, made appearances on Off Me Nut, Riot Radio Records, and Asking For Trouble and released under the OverworX moniker.
