Seekers is a dub-soaked, trance-tinged exploration of texture, rhythm, and atmosphere. Across three original tracks and a deep dub reinterpretation by Mozes, the record drifts between ambient dance, psychedelic shimmer, and experimental sound collage.

Born from the chaos of a sleepless coastal city, Seekers captures the fractured poetry of urban drift — soft and hazy one moment, tangled and dense the next. Built from field recordings, found tones, and analogue synth fragments, it feels like a collection of dream fragments from the in-between: half memory, half mirage.

Closing the release, Mozes reimagines one of the EP’s key pieces through a dub-rooted lens — a meditative descent into echo and weight, where bass becomes landscape and delay turns to dialogue.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
Gats is an electronic music producer and performer from Berlin, Germany, known for a unique style that blends elements of psychedelic rock, dub, and Balearic sounds to create music that is both relaxing and danceable. Gats has released several albums and EPs on labels like Invisible Inc., Voodoohop, Chill Mountain Records, both as a solo artist and as part of various musical projects, including Die Grillen, Gates, Changa Boys, ghostandthesong, Voltags, and many more.

microCastle’s masterstroke has been to engage Love over Entropy to repattern ‘Ortygia’. Motivated by the ideology of early Detroit pioneers and experimental IDM, his musical creations are renowned for being hypnotic and atmospheric, with a tender touch, juxtaposing an obsessive attention to detail with space, chaos and chance. As a result the Dutch artist has found a home on taste-maker labels such as Something Happening Somewhere, Lossless and Atomnation. Here he builds a deeply brooding, melodic, percussive masterpiece, and the resultant tension is palpable as his re-imagining of ‘Ortygia’ sparks with eruptive bursts of fizzing energy. A stunning remix on every level, and it is no wonder that he is beloved by such heavyweights as Dixon, Mano Le Tough, Âme and Laurent Garnier.

The 73rd release on Darin Epsilon's Perspectives Digital begins 2020 with the sparkling "So Corrupted" from Mehmet Akar. A pair of outstanding remixes by veteran producers Sezer Uysal and Nihil Young and Talal complete the EP.

A producer with a rich artistic pedigree, Mehmet Akar quickly found himself making a sizeable impression in the underground dance fraternity. After success with his "Deep Sounds" and "2nd Resurrection" radio shows, the Turkish producer has hit the headlines with over 150 track credits for some of the industry's finest imprints. Moreover, as a winner of Sasha's "Cut Me Down" remix competition and a 2011 release on Last Night On Earth, Akar has gone on to see his music feature on Global Underground, Beatfreak Recordings, and Outside The Box. Making his debut as part of the "ADE 2017 Sampler", Mehmet Akar returns to Perspectives Digital with the mesmerizing "So Corrupted".

Both successful high-profile artists in their own rights, Nihil Young and Talal have found further achievement as a creative duo. Over 1 million streams of his track "Align" has seen Young stand out in a crowded market. His music for Kindisch, Warung, and his own Frequenza Records has seen the Italian produce highly original melodic, deep, and progressive house with a sprinkling of techno. Joining forces with Talal, the London based producer has been a key figure at events including Robot Hearts, Cream Amnesia Ibiza, and Amsterdam Dance Event. We are back on Deep Stories Records and have new music for you. The Heidelberg based producer Benni Matern has convinced us with his productions and we are happy to release his "What Is Left" EP.

The title track gently introduces into the EP and at the same time gives an impression in which direction the EP should go. A striking bass meets a lasting melody. Together, these two elements create a comforting atmosphere and make "What Is Left" an emotional prelude that makes you want more.
