Although Gabriel Berlanga has done the rounds, with records & mixes out on labels such as Correspondant, Nein and Melomana, undoubtedly here his Aeromuerto EP on Beachcoma brought this to us. A wonderful homage to analogue synths and the 16 step sequenced journeys they created brought aching joy to this R$N fella. Familiar at Razzmatazz, The Loft and Moog, Barcelona loves Undo.

With his own Factor City Records label (which has featured Club Bizarre, Offset and Morgan Hammer) to look after too, we asked the salt & pepper haired Catalonian to do a mix for us. And give us a little about his favourite food and stuff.

Ombra International has a mysterious scent embedded in its foundations. The collective is a strong alliance between a global range of like-minded individuals coming from a diverse spectrum of artistic backgrounds. Bursting into life towards the back end of 2016, the movement of musicians and visual artists share a mutual love for wave / post-punk and dark disco sound aesthetics, inspired by the underground 80’s revolt to pop culture, and has quickly flowered into one of the to go to labels for experimental and colorful electronica.

We're very happy to introduce duo @BarumBarumOfficial from Macedonia who are the latest artists to join the Sinchi label and we are expecting a very bright future. Their EP 'Ritual' is out on the 24th May. Watch out for premieres on Les Yeux Orange, Liquid Youth and Whypeopledance this week.  In their own words ' This mix is inspired by the  beautiful music that we listen, chosen tracks, artists and the style that is kept in the mix are very similar to us. Contemporary dance music of the world, spiced with some dark synths and guitars'.

1) Introduce yourself? 
Two guys from the crazy Balkans, fanatics for music. 

2) What have been your highlights from the last 12 months? 
We started living together to make music a little earlier. Then we released our first official release with an EP named ‘BarumTonen’ on Skopje based label ‘PMG Recordings’.  Our second EP ' Ritual' is for Sinchi and  features two remixes from the rockstars ‘Khidja’ and ‘SHMLSS’. With this release we support the preservation of indigenous culture and knowledge. And soon after, we have another track of ours included in Sinchi’s first artist compilation. Anyway, the most valuable is the connection with Sinchi. This is a one way journey, on the train of fantastic :) 

3) What do you have lined up for the coming year?  
We work all the time, on new concepts for future tracks . Also, playing in clubs and on festivals in Skopje.

Artist: @attendances 

Attendances was born in Ancona (1987), a small town in the east cost of Italy. Is an Italian dj and producer influenced from different kind of music: new wave, electro, electrobeat, EBM, industrial, letfield, techno, indie-dance, darkdisco, electronic and progressive.
Begins almost as a game the interested in DJing and from this experience he started attending and then working as a DJ in clubs and social centers such as the Thermos and Kontatto.
During his time spent at university began a phase of learning to the study of different software for the creation of sound, producing at the same time, songs intended as a photograph of the soul with the passing of time.
After several years of work in the creation of sound, in 2014 start the project called "Attendances" creates his podcast series called “Retrofuture" and starts to release some tracks on different labels such as: Play Pal, Maleante, Esthetique and Emerald & Doreen.
From 2015, enters in REDD crew (Raval Electornic Dance Department : @redd_session) a well-known party reality in Ancona, and in 2018 he joined the Italian-Spanish crew called Carajillo electronique playing in different clubs and festival in Italy and in Spain.

MOTEL77 is the new duo revealed by the infamous French label La Dame Noir. Behind that name, Thoma Cher & Charp, 2 Djs who have been key players in Shanghai underground scene for the last decade. While Charp did tour all over asian clubs, Thoma Cher released vinyls on nu disco cool labels and his first EP was charted in the best of 2017 of juno records. They came together last year to create MOTEL77, a dark disco act "for those who like to keep their leather jacket on the dance floor" (Trax Magazine 2018). Dark, deep, physical but focus on groove. "A standout package of machine made disco with a space edge”.

Their first EP on La dame Noir Records has received widespread acclaim from Media (BBC 6 music, Dj mag UK, The Ransom note, Trax magazine…) and has been played around the world by artist like Curses, Local suicide, Chloe, Zimmer or Marvin & Guy. “Beast of a release” , “dance floor heat”, their second EP Confusion with remix by In Flagranti and Roe Deers confirmed the growing imprint of the duo in the European electronic music scene. Those last months, they went back on duty to produce an heavy remix for the latest Play Pal EP and an original track “Morning Call” for the 10 years anniversary of Ldn records (supported by DFA Juan Maclean!). In the last year, Motel77 has performed both in Europe and Asia bringing their dark groove, techno-ish disco, and saturated guitar in Paris, Marseille, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Beijing, and Ho Chi Minh.
