Lyase presents the Volume One of its Various Artists series. The EP has already gathered support by the likes of Laurent Garnier and Jackmaster. The four tracker starts with a house banger by Sydney’s misterious duo @anthonyfade , followed up by a techno burner from Tokyo’s finest DJ Sodeyama, fresh of his release on Nina Kraviz Trip imprint. Track 3 is a melodic trip coming from the upcoming duo from Tel Aviv, @ mintz-music . The final track is by a fresh young producer based in Amsterdam, @jack_roland .

Let’s start right here with this debut for Lyase, a release that’s landed with precision timing as it builds on the momentum of key outings on Rebirth, Internasjonal and 20/20 Vision…

In fact ‘Try To Understand Me’ is a direct continuation of Lele’s pristine work on Ralph Lawson’s imprint. Hot on the heels of their track on the ‘New Editions’ collection in September, Lele teams up once again with fellow Italian groove scientist Whitesquare for the title track. A pulsating hypnotic roll-out that flutters and pumps in equal measure – aided neatly but big dubby psychedelic washes – it’s one of those tracks that whisks you deep into your inner psyche with heavy meditative results.

It’s followed by ‘Clima’ a track that raises in heat with every juicy bass lick and synth blast. Chugging with the energy and cool sense of abandon of a track well over 20 years its senior, there’s a great playfulness and euphoria as we thrust into the groove.

Beardstrokers need not apply – this is strictly for DJs and dancefloor who prioritise fun over everything else. Whitesquare clearly has the same priorities with his own remix… And he shows it with a bassline the rips holes in the groove from nowhere, thundering with a tech funk groove that sets your floor up for the biggest meltdown possible on the breakdown.

Finally we hit ‘Neighbours’. Guaranteed to annoy them next door with its volume-insisting energy and personality, it follows another thread in Lele’s successful year; its loose, organic groove and gradual layering and sudden break into total euphoria tipping a nod at his critically received collaboration with indie darlings Blonde Redhead.

A fitting way to end one of his busiest and most exciting years to date: our understanding of Lele is really only just beginning, we can’t wait to see what he delivers next.

her name is galcid, lately gaining a massive support in the Japanese scene for her Analog-only live sets, she's joined by her partner “Hisahi Saito” a well known figure in the Japanese Synth world. they've teamed up to create an analog techno remix suited for the late hours madness.

@renskeSirena is a techno artist from Amsterdam. She has had an active role in the electronic music industry for over the last 15 years.
Her career started as a renowned music journalist. She developed her own video formats and documentaries and worked internationally as a freelance journalist and host for Ultra Music Festival Miami, Coachella Festival USA, Awakenings, Amsterdam Dance Event, IMS Ibiza, ID&T, Pacha amongst others. Furthermore she hosted a weekly radio show on Ibiza Global Radio and increasingly started to appear behind the decks herself as it all started with this;
her passion for music.
In no time Sirena played at national and international clubs and events like Sonar (Barcelona), Touch The Lake Festival (Zurich), Ibiza - including Pete Tong’s Le Grand Bazaar at Ushuaia, WMC Miami, KaterBlau (Berlin) Egg (London) and Toffler (Rotterdam).
Being in the scene since the 90’s she gathered an immense knowledge about electronic music. Her passion for the music, and collecting it, slowly merged into her becoming a DJ.
Her flexibility to shift through different aspects of techno in her DJ sets makes her able to rock a main stage or to create the right vibe for an intimate club setting.
She crosses through different styles of techno ranging from dub artists like Maurizio, to Robert Hood and Speedy J.
Her own productions are a blend of the classic warm dub sound combined with her personal look on techno; warm, minimalistic yet made for the dance floors. In 2015 her remix for the legendary Belgium label Bonzai revealed a glimpse of her style but her release on Kevin Saunderson's label KMS in 2016, her status was confirmed by one of the true Detroit techno pioneers himself.
This gave her the confidence to go back in the studio to make new music.
No surprise she has more releases lined up for 2017, starting with her EP on Lyase Recordings in May.

We've already received overwhelming support and lovely words on this EP by the likes of Laurent Garnier, Daniel Avery, Maceo Plex, Paco Osuna, Scuba, Amelie Lens, Charlotte de Witte, Denis Sulta, Perc, Inland, Sasha Carassi, Lele Sacchi, Karim Sahraoui, Dimitri, Boxia and many more...

We’re delighted to welcome 2018 with the second chapter of our various artists volume. 
It kicks right off with the first two tracks coming from Lyase honchos Whitesquare and Nima Tahmasebi.
Whitesquare introduces us to his Techno side with “3nce”, a dark techno track with an addition of trancey elements taking us back to the early progressive trance days. Many big names have been playing this bomb lately so we’ve conclusively decided to release it. 
Coming right next we can finally unveil to you “Unbreakable” by Nima Tahmasebi. His impeccable style catches us again with his hollow melodies and dark grooves. Nima is known to deliver these gems and after a long period of silence. We are super excited to put this out after the golden NT89 days…
The Compilation proceeds with DJ RS’ “What are You Doing?”. We know Risa for quite a long time - having both toured Japan many times, we had the pleasure to meet her as one of Tokyo’s most prolific and eclectic Dj’s. Usually seen djing in Tokyo’s hottest spots like WOMB and Vent, she brings us her new creation which has already captured the attention of many big djs in the field. Maceo Plex showed the track’s magic in his latest set at Printworks in London. A strong techno track with DJ RS hypnotic vocal line guaranteed for the late night vibes. 
The fourth track on the EP is by one of South Korea’s best kept secrets, Messiahwaits. the fast rising producer is getting a lot of attention having recently featured his track on the Fiedel’s Berghain 08 mix on Ostgut ton. We have been following his work for a while now and finally decided to have him on the label with “Resonant Voices”, an hypnotic techno track where he’s showing us his deeper side of production and crystal perfection in sound. dark beats and deep grooves, that’s what we like to call “techno with feelings!”.
VA n2 closes with the super young fast rising dj and producer “Cellini” from Belgium. The new resident of Brussels legendary “Fuse” club delivers a big track named “Minerva”- it’s techno, it’s warm, simple yet effective, his capacity to introduce heavenly sounds to the most deep shades of techno beats and grooves makes this track a unique way to debut his productions on Lyase.
