Viscan warned us of the trouble to come
To put out the flames when it still could be done,
‘A nightmare of fire and malice’ from below
Burned every city, razed every plateau.

Take your family north lest they stay and choke
Make your treasures your memories and what you can pack,
For the Cinder King’s fire turns everything black.	

Travel from Rifenmist began to slow
But the Sovereign’s armies still didn’t show 
Daily the dragon caravans burned
Yet the Sovereign thought it no concern.

When it came to Tal’Dorei, thous’nds already died, 
Thordak had destroyed Mornset Countryside
Took people as slaves and those who’d resist
He’d pretend to set free, then burn to a crisp.

The Council eventually learned of the threat,
That Thordak had survived the assault in Marquet.
His fire forever scars the South and beyond,
Shame be the legacy of Sovereign Odellan.

Allura and her party dealt with the beast,
Casting it out, the country found peace.
But make no mistake, danger still lurks,
The Cinder King’s return already in the works.

Raise your head and watch for the smoke,
The Sovereign cares not for the common folk
To the Cinder King’s flame, towns and castles fall
If you’re lucky, the terror will swallow you whole!

Lil Hummingbird had a little bad habit y’see
