Based in the beautiful and lively town of Mérida, capital of Yucatan, Mario Gonzalez Alvarado aka TYU shares his life between his job as an architect and his passion for music.

At the age of 27, he's already one of the most promising producers in Mexico with releases, remixes or appearances on labels such as Duro, Calypso Records, Multi-Culti offshoots Culted & Party Central or Belly Dance Services!
His most recent work has been for @quartiergroove Records first EP “Ritmo del Barrio” Bravo & Dj's - Difacil Rap (TYU Remix).

Lydia começou a sua jornada musical desde cedo, quando criança já ouvia sons eletrônicos, e ao longo dos anos, foi capaz de aprofundar seus conhecimentos e definir seus gostos musicais. Seus estilos favoritos, e que estão no seu Altercast,  são New Beat, Italo-Disco, Dub, Synth-pop, Downtempo, Electro, Acid House, dentre outros.

Atualmente ela está entrando no mundo da música através do Soundcloud com uma Mix Series chamada “Dancing Dolphins”, além de contribuir com suas próprias mixagens para outras plataformas.
Ela fez sua estreia como DJ no verão de 2021 no Switch Pocket Club (BCN) e em novembro ela se apresentou no Soundit Festival em Barcelona.

Lydia's journey began when she was a child, listening to a distinctive musical style at home, marked by electronic sounds that began to form her in the musical field.
Over the years she has been able to deepen her knowledge and define her musical tastes. Her main favourite styles are currently New Beat, Italo-Disco, Dub, Synth-pop, Downtempo, Electro, Acid House and more.
She is currently getting into the world of music through Soundcloud with a Mix Series called “Dancing Dolphins” as well as contributing with her own mixes for other platforms.
She made her DJ debut in summer 2021 at Switch Pocket Club (BCN) and In November she played for Soundit Festival in Barcelona.

Tech Support always finds a groove in everything he touches. Be that through his DJ sets, mixes or his own productions, there's a rhythmic fluidity and depth that always guides his way.

He never confines himself to one sound or style but there's a distinct nod to the 80s in his influences and output; be assured you'll find lashings of Italo, vintage darkwave, euphoric house and slo mo chug when he's behind the decks or laying it down in the studio.

His work rate as a producer has been on the up over the last few years. If he's not sharing his solo work, which has formed releases for Nocturne, Together Alone, Futureboogie, Silver Bear and, most recently Ano Ano, he's crafting his own self-released edits and reworks of legendary new beat, new wave and Italo Disco tracks like 'Burning Down The House', 'Je Suit Passee' and 'Drop The Deal'. Lately he's been making music under another alias, Asa Tate, with a track penned for this year's Rhythm Section SHOUTS compilation. 

For his Shine A Light On mix, he dives into the sounds we've come to know him for: there's revving Italo, hypnotic Goa, groovy acid not acid and dusty progressive trance. Dig in...

Eric Duncan started DJ-ing in Manhattan’s Downtown bar and club circuit in the mid 90’s.

In 1996 he stepped out of the DJ booth to curate the music for the Girl Skateboards movie titled ‘Mouse’. A couple of years later, Eric along with Thomas Bullock formed the AfterHours party outfit ‘Rub-N-Tug’. 

After a few years of HARDCORE party providing to NYC’s left field underground. Eric began hitting the road with Rub-N-Tug, the rest is a blur.. ;)

In 2006 Eric & Liv Spencer started ‘Still Going’ releasing 2 singles on DFA Records including ‘Still Going Theme’ & ’Spaghetti Circus’ the later featuring Ultra talented Reggie Watts on vocals. Eric also has production collaborations with Dean Meredith of Chicken Lips fame and New York’s Justin Vandervolgen leader of ‘My Rules’

For the next mix in our podcast series, we welcome a special mix from DJ City live at Gegen, Pornceptual, RSO, Berlin. 

'Johan originally hailing from Stockholm, now residing in Berlin is known for long eclectic DJ sets, effortlessly moving within the various shapes of house, disco & techno. Holding down a residency at the infamous Cocktail D‘Amore party series, he’s become an integral part of the Berlin scene. 

With his musical productions he‘s been equally versatile. Since his debut on Public Possession in 2019 he found a temporary sweet spot in what could vaguely be described as vocal house, but in fact is much more, taking influences from EBM, Italo and electro clash all tied together by his deep, poetic, tongue in cheek lyrics. 

His songs dealing with love, sex, beliefs & life in a modern metropolis are quite likely being cued up world wide by the likes of Gerd Janson, Jennifer Cardini, Perel, Sedef Adasi and Seth Troxler"

The start of the year is always tough and with rekordbox struggles, Johan drifts us  back to the night of New Years Day where he played on day 2 of 4 at Berlin's RSO night club for Gegen and Pornceptual, who had joined forces to celebrate the New Year. 

In the words of Johan. "I played the penthouse floor which was like a secret little chalet hidden in the attic in one of the former factory buildings. I played my music surrounded by dancers and queer monsters and gods that made me feel both lost and right at home at the same time, just how the night should feel!"
