Origin is a coming-of-age story told through melodic passages and otherworldly textures. It’s the story of a child’s playful imagination, the struggle of carving out a place in this world, and the loss of a loved one.

Wild Child captures the playful nature of kids in an organic genre fusion where breathy vocals and woodwinds are weaved into exotic rhythm. It’s a ritualistic jungle dance that ends in the club.
Wild Child is performed, mixed, mastered by me, and it features a sampled version of Anna Lidell's vocals.

The instrumental EP “Terra Incognita” is made by the danish composer Emil Smith, who has worked with multiple musicians and drawn on some of his film- and game music scores. The EP is an exploration of music from beyond the edges of the map inspired by the curiosity of The Age of Discovery. Tribal drums carry you through a jungle of otherworldly textures into contemplative meadows and ancient temples. In the end, the urge to go beyond the horizon is concluded as we land in a more grounded place and decide to stay.

Scorpio was originally a trap beat using the melodic theme from my previous EP, sung by vocalist Anna Lidell, and played on duduk. A minute into the song, it turns into a glitchy mangled breakdown, where the voice is chopped and manipulated. Heavy glissando synths pick up the song again and it is driven forward by a saz. My idea is to create an eclectic world fusion sound and put it into a futuristic cinematic setting.
