We're pleased to welcome back to our channel Gianluca Meloni, also known as Laertes, is a producer, musician, and mastering engineer with over two decades of experience in the Italian and international electronic music scene. Deeply fascinated by the creative power of analog synthesizers – particularly the Moog universe – he blends live performance, electronic composition, and meticulous studio work into a cohesive artistic flow.



Today, his work as a mastering engineer stands at the core of his professional identity: a space where sound art meets precision, and where each track is shaped to reach its full expressive potential. He has collaborated with artists, labels, and international projects, helping define strong and recognizable sonic identities.



With Laertes, the line between stage and studio fades: music is born from physical gesture, shaped through listening, and finalized with a sharp and sensitive sonic vision. Alongside production, he is also involved in teaching and mentoring, guiding artists through the world of analog synthesis and the final stages of music creation.

The next guest on the Densiflora podcast is Frau Kochmann, better known to the wider audience as @bexamusic . While BEXA is usually associated with fiery techno selection, Frau Kochmann represents the artist’s house-oriented side. And it’s worth adding — this girl clearly feels the house side of the force. The foundation here is deep — warm splashes of sound, a dreamy, sensual atmosphere straight out of an after-hours vibe. In contrast to this subtle musical texture is a driving tech-house or minimal. In our opinion, it’s a juicy and flavorful recording that showcases a lesser-known, yet truly fascinating side of the artist.

This week's Full Moon is in the optimistic sign of Sagittarius. Typical Sagittarius themes are enthusiasm, expansion, philosophy, travel; everything is about enlarging. Expanding your knowledge, your dreams, your opportunities, your experiences. And the Sagittarius does all this with a philosophical edge. This sign is looking for the deeper meaning behind everything that happens. 

That all sounds positive, but then there is the influence of Gemini (the sign the sun is in) that can make these days just a little more difficult. Sagittarius and Gemini are true opposites. Where Sagittarius philosophizes about the (distant) future, Gemini is present in the here and now.

As a result, you may find yourself in a kind of inner conflict. What do I want to focus on? Is that on the here and now? 
And after that? Think big and imagine that anything is possible. Be inspired by anything that comes to mind then.

Scattering for many years between different underground music genres, this frequency collided with the techno soundscape in 2016, creating an outburst of energy.
Equipped with a rumbling, driving, and unseen dedication to his passion, his journey began...
After he took the Belgian MUSICASA producer’s education, as a first step to pursuing his dream, he quickly released EP's and remixes on melodic techno labels such as SMR Underground, Melodia Records, Tanzgemeinschaft, and Papaya music. After releasing and performing on various stages, and through the process of producing and self-awareness, he felt the melodic techno genre wasn’t the perfect reflection of what inspired and drove him.
In 2022 he had a change of heart as he started focusing more on underground hypnotic, atmospheric and ambient techno, reaching for that inner spirit and dynamic balance. This resulted in releases on some of the biggest labels in the hypnotic scene like DORIAN, The Gods Planet, BAHN, Khoros, Informa, Space Textures, Arcadia,... with many more on the way.
His style of playing and producing can be described as a perfectly, yet delicate, carved out balance between light and darkness, melancholic and emotionally charged. Cinematic sounds, rich and full of atmospheres, super evocative soundscapes with an inexplicable soul that can only be grasped when fully immersed into it.

Talker debuta en White Owl Records con “Notsender”, una pieza implacable y visceral que inaugura el EP “It’s Not the Archer, It’s the Arrow”, disponible el 3 de julio. Con un enfoque crudo y analógico, el productor explora los límites del techno modular en una composición que desborda tensión, ritmo fracturado y diseño sonoro quirúrgico.

El track se construye sobre una base rítmica dislocada, donde percusiones irregulares y capas sintéticas vibrantes crean un ambiente sombrío, casi ritualista. La atmósfera es densa, pero precisa, con un trabajo de texturas que no deja nada al azar. Es techno para los que entienden el cuerpo como campo de batalla sensorial.

Desde el underground de Brooklyn, White Owl Records refuerza su identidad como sello especializado en techno experimental con alma de club. Con “Notsender”, Talker firma una declaración de intenciones: intensidad, distorsión emocional y maquinaria pura.

The second release on Hypnotic Journeys brings together emerging Georgian producers and celebrated names from the global techno scene, weaving a story of tension, resistance, and transcendence.

Batumi-based newcomer Grenuy opens the compilation with a debut ambient piece that feels both intimate and expansive, a slow-burning meditation on space and emotion. His work is reimagined by Van Morph, a revered producer and founder of Khoros Records, who drives the track into deeper territory with an old-school, hypnotic groove.

NFNM (formerly Kapa), a young yet distinctive voice in the Tbilisi underground, delivers a piece of textural techno rich with movement and raw emotion. The journey concludes with a powerful remix by Tsott, founder of the forward-thinking Spira Records, whose deep and cerebral approach brings the compilation full circle.

“Friction” is a testament to Hypnotic Journeys’ ethos: uniting generations, sounds, and visions through hypnotic techno as a futurist statement.
