Inspired by a sentimental-intense emotional spectrum, I construct a narrative guiding listeners through a multitude of feelings, ranging from gentle nostalgia to profound darkness. I always strive for an abstract, innovative sound that challenges the boundaries of conventional listening experiences. Tune in for one hour of drony strings, metallic ambient, otherworldly classical bits and skin shivers. This episode of Carrie Cassie is taken over by London-based violinist, vocalist and composer Vanessa Bedoret, who integrates her classical background into experimental production as a mean to shape intimate and cinematic compositions. In 2023 &ampamp; 2024, she has been accompanying Astrid Sonne on tour together with cellist Emma Barnaby.
