In the shadow of the headframes and along the banks of the Scheldt, Low Bat settled down after a Germanic period of programming the Berlin office of the Istanbul club called arkaoda. He is now continuing his musical adventure by working on a part of Mutant Radio's programme, school diving and performing as well as front man of the band called Jean-Luc.
While cutting the small papers for your summer, he offers in the following mix a journey through the psych-rock, the metal and leading you in a trance state.

Episode number 52 is "hard-boiled" by an outstanding artist from the medieval city of Utrecht -  Tala Drum Corps. Being a creator in the field of audio and interaction design Tijmen combines many musical incarnations, including but not limited to his own tape experiments and the building of dub sirens and curation of Stranded FM. In his music and mixes, he gravitates more towards a chthonic palette including spooky dub, captivating and otherworldly percussions, mumblecore illbient, hypnotizing mermaid trance, mnemonic electro, Arrakis kraut and who knows what else! This mix was no exception, which makes me very happy as the curator of De Kat Memwa series! After listening to the mix for the first time, I was naturally sweating from the buzz!

I have been a long-time fan of the work of Tala Drum Corps, but for some reason, I was too shy to write for some time. When I finally overcame my shyness, we were very quickly able to meet in real life and hold an amazing joint dance event in Malmö. In short, it is a great happiness to find new friends and like-minded people through music!

Thanks a lot to Tijmen for the 1h of unsurpassed selection! Don't make the "ghola" angry! Press play and get ready for an unforgettable trip!
