Vivre, c’est savoir, quand il le faut, prendre les virages de manière plus ou moins serrés.
Tout est politique: alors notre association l’est aussi nécessairement. Mais la politique ici prend un visage qui s’est
imposé à nous comme le seul possible et vivable: à inventer, nouveau-né, artistique - dans le sens le plus simple
de « poétisation » (étymologiquement « faire ») du réel. Et poétiser le réel, ce n’est pas le défigurer, mais tenter de
lui donner un visage c’est-à-dire un sens humain.
Cela passe par des virages que les différentes œuvres dans lesquelles vous évoluerez tentent d’incarner.

Toutes ces performances sont donc notre visage ouvert, à la recherche d’une nouvelle axiomatique qui se
manifeste par un jeu sur les dimensions de l’espace et du temps dans lesquelles nous évoluons. Le visage-mirage
ne veut pas fuir : il veut toucher et transformer sans jugement de valeurs, mais avec notre seule intuition réfléchie
la matière brute des contraintes sociales et des obstacles : c’est le jeu.

Caresse et violence, squelette et chair, béton et pouf.

Véranda 81 est un collectif d'artistes de la scène émergente ayant pour but d’organiser des événements culturels
dans différents domaines de la création (musique, sculpture, peinture, graphisme, vidéo).
Ce lieu a vocation à constituer un espace de recherches, d’expérimentations et de rencontres entre différents
univers artistiques qui sont autant de manières de vivre et survivre dans ce monde humain protéiforme et façonné
sans cesse par nos influences et sensibilités.

On vous présente aujourd’hui notre toute première installation autour du thème du mirage : de la réalité
transformée et fantasmée.

Pour ce douzième volume, nous avons droit à la contribution de notre collaborateur, programmateur et matriceur @julienracine. Maître des textures et des rythmiques dissonantes, il s’est fait remarquer avec deux albums parus sur l’étiquette suisse @danse-noire-records: Quelque Chose Tombe (2020) et Amitiés (2022). Avec son comparse @keru-not-ever, il forme le duo Corporation, qui a fait paraître Graffito en 2019 et qui produit l’émission mensuelle Scène pour la @hkcrlive. Sa sélection, pour public averti seulement, ratisse large, passant du métal au jazz; il laisse entrevoir comment il réussit à réconcilier des sonorités aux extrêmes dans le reste de son œuvre.

PURPOSE
We aimed to determine the relationship of abnormal labyrinthine signals on heavily T2-weighted three-dimensional fluid-attenuated inversion recovery imaging (HF sequence) with hearing impairment and prognosis in patients with sudden sensorineural hearing loss (SSNHL).
METHODS
Patients with unilateral SSNHL underwent magnetic resonance imaging, including pre-contrast HF sequences and post-contrast HF sequences with a 4-hour scan delay after intravenous gadolinium injection. We measured the signal intensity ratio (SIR) of the vestibule and cochlea relative to the cerebellar medulla on post-contrast HF sequences, and analyzed the relationship of SIR with hearing impairment and prognosis.

Although the initial seeds had already been planted, the largest part of these two tracks was produced by Francesco Birsa Alessandri (Sense Fracture) in Milan, Italy, during the strictest part of Covid-19 lockdown. While all around people were trying to make the best of their home confinement, all the Haunter co-founder could channel in this work was a sense of rage and frustration. The global pandemic was revealing once more how the current political structures do not exist to provide for the common good. World leaders exploited the state of emergency to provide for their own authoritarian agenda, working in conjunction with multinational Capital to reinforce the hegemonic status of the ruling class. It was immediately apparent that not even the possibility of death on mass scale was enough to re-think the force and economic relations that govern Earth. The possibility to think and work as a community constantly mauled by the paranoid, individualistic narrative of power, reinforcing the state of anxiety that permeates the world.

The furious yells in “What We Could Have Done” were sampled from Italian hardcore punk band Wretched’s 1984 classic “Spero Venga La Guerra”, its intro famously stating “I hope war comes, only then you’ll understand you could have done something”. War hasn’t come to the global north, but pestilence has, have now grasped what we could have done? How we could overthrow the present state of things and organize towards the future?

This single also comes out a few days after the murder of George Floyd at the hands of a police officer raised once more the evidence of systemic racism and the issue of white supremacy not only in the USA but in all western countries, giving birth to a mass uprise that makes the need and hunger for radical change impossible to ignore.
“RAN” a Japanese word for “riot” and “rebellion” is an invite to take action in burning down the castle, to join together and do all we can.

These tracks is dedicated to all individuals and organizations that have engaged in active popular solidarity and aid.
All the profits made by the sales of the single will be donated in an even split between the Brigate Volontarie Per L’Emergenza (Italy) and the National Bailout Fund (USA).
