Amandra, half head honcho behind Ahrpe Records, goes for subtly evolving and droning atmospheres. wonder, perhaps an ambitious attempt to grip at your heartstrings and tap into feelings of
wonder, reverence, and surrender for this moment in time.
The mix includes a collection of songs which have moved me to tears, like voices from beyond
which I long for. You will hear the prominence of organs and voice, two sacred instruments
sharing the commonality of windpipes, both temples of worship, one mortal, the other undying.
Live elements played on the Roland JD-800 are woven throughout the mix, an instrument which
seems to have been made for conjuring other states of being.”
