Doug "Dougasauras" Katsaros wrote "By Mennen", a jingle referenced by Family Guy, Seinfield and Jon Stewart. Weirdly, the same guy who wrote those three notes, also played on or wrote music for around two dozen gold or platinum records. One time Elton John didn't feel like playing the piano on a song on his own record, so Doug was hired to play Elton John on an Elton John album.  

He listened to Bon Jovi's first album and was pretty sure that some of the high notes were actually sung by him.

He won an Emmy for something too.

He did this all with an outstanding mustache and he said he wouldn't mind if I called him on the phone.
