This is the first love duet between Lee and Cassandra in the musical that I'm writing called "The Cassandra Effect." 
This is a draft, with myself singing both parts, it's supposed to be sung by a male and a female.

This is the first love duet between Lee and Cassandra in the new musical that I'm writing. This was the first version of it - purely on the piano.

This was written for the original musical "The Cassandra Effect," set in olde Scotland. This is for the ceilidh scene for their Winter Festival, where they dance, indulge in alchoholic beverages and food. They do some rituals so they will be prosperous for the upcoming year.

It's a scetch recording and would involve many more voices than just my own!

Rhapsody

I wrote this piece in 2015-16 and I called it "Inside My Head" as I was struggling with my mental health and writing this was incredibly theraputic and cathartic. I hope you enjoy it.

Inside My Head

I wrote this 27/04/20 about the lockdown during the covid-19 pandemic. I tried to have a sort of minimalist theme with variations in order to capture the feeling of anxiety mixed with monotony with having to stay at home and things feeling almost like they're on repeat until things start to return to normal(?).
We're all struggling a lot with things like mental health and financial difficulties - hence some of the clashes! I have to say, this was amazingly cathartic to write.

Lockdown

A long running joke between friends has now become something I spent way too much time creating, and yes, I'm even thinking of rerecording this to be even more epic - that will have to wait.

Our friend Sean has always been a fantastic host, and would insist on having us to stay over, whenever we visited (despite living quite close by). He'd lend us pyjamas and sing us a lullaby, which was him simply singing "lots of dinosaurs" to the Jurassic Park theme in increasing volume. Over months, this became progressivly more elaborate - a mass singing at new years, as an example.
One year, for Sean's birthday, I was struggling for money, but had the idea to record a four part choir version of this song - adding to it various dinosaur names to the 'verse.' (Yes, I know, some of the dinosaur names aren't pronounced correctly, please ignore this!) I went to each of our mutual friends flats and asked them to join in for the chorus'.

The reaction he gave upon hearing it was worth every hour that went into this... and believe me, there were way too many hours racked up for what was essentially a joke!

Lots of Dinosaurs

This is the Lullaby from the musical that I'm writing called "The Cassandra Effect."
This is where Cassandra, as a child, has a vision of her future - but it's not good news. She has it during the night, and her mother comes in to try to comfort her, but Cassandra has to tell her what she saw.

I am an intrumental tutor and composer. I teach singing, piano/keys, flute, descant recorder and music theory.
My passion is composing, I love to write in all sorts of styles, mainly rock and pop (my rock profile is Llennett) but I love to write on my upright Steinway.
