Occipital Lobe

This is a rocket set adrift in space 6 years prior returning home. Their vessel approaching the atmosphere slowly at first and then finally beginning the feel the wind resistance as it enters the upper atmosphere. Un-exercised sections of the spacecraft flapping and burning on the reentry. And then there they are 30,000 feet over the dirt they would curl between their toes and the through the air that filled their lungs. And then there is the runway ...


I dabble in sounds. I wanted moody, ill-logical chords and notes playing behind a warm cacophony of outer-world machinations. The voices of angels piercing through magnificent overwhelming clouds of dust or perhaps a massive landscape. I wanted an event slowly exhumed with the music bringing awareness and attention to this swollen tick of what lay before the viewer. And finally an isolation with the same melancholy, un-sequenced chords strolling past the moment that has come to a close.

Everything posted here are music experiments.

My solo material are soundscapes and sample-rich productions created through Ableton. This is all a learning process and most of the works posted are crafted in hours and not days. Iterations without refinement; sound drafts that I may return to later in life when I understand my own self and my work better.
