This track by Reba is very new compared to a lot of my Reba covers. I'm just a classic Reba fan. However, this one, it speaks to me a very personal level. I've been that woman that there weren't any real clues, at least not until I was gone for several months and could look at things with hindsight. No woman should ever be treated that way, but significant others have been doing it for eons. The fact that she is so very happy with Rex Linn now, she deserves nothing but the best. Well, this song is part of where I come from. My mother sang with a gospel group before I was born and she did for the majority of my life. This song is one of the first songs I remember, sitting in some church pew in one of the churches they were asked to sing for, and hearing Scott belt this out. I sing it how he sang it. Most people will look at the group name, Southern Harmony, and be like who? Well, they are my roots, and I'm thankful to have those memories.

Chelsea Marie Church, she left us way too soon on December 11, 2005. This song speaks such volumes to how much those that were left behind in her wake, how much we struggled and still struggle to live this life without her. The day that she left us, it just happened to have been a Sunday. Just hours before, she had sat in front of me and told me how proud she was of my decision to join the Marines. She hugged my neck and that was the last hug I ever got from her. Just hours later, while I was at work no less, I got the call from my best friend. She was gone before she had even known what happened. It still makes me weep. She was only 17 years old, with her entire life in front of her. I pray that I did this cover justice, for her. For her family. For her nephews and nieces. We love you and miss you so very much, Chelsea Marie <3

Celine, and all the songs on that particular CD, got me through a lot of horrific and horrible things. I hope I could do her and Ole Blue Eyes justice with this Cover <3

When I first saw the music video for this song, I was captivated. To love and be loved like that, that's the goal. A love like theirs is one for the ages. It's hard to recreate that when you cut a duet without a partner, but I hope I was able to convey just a small bit of what this song means.

I remember the first time I heard this song on the radio. I was lying in bed with my infant brother on my chest. He was about 2 or 3 months old at the time. This song was an anthem for how I felt about that little boy I raised from 13 until I left home at 19. You wouldn't know it now. He's had his head filled with so many lies and general untruths. I miss those days when he was so innocent and needed me.

Toby wrote this song for his friend, Wayman Tisdale, who lost his battle with cancer. It is such a fitting song for me, especially wishing I had held on to voicemails from my Peepaw that passed away in August of 2019. This song has been in my head all day and it's where my creativity insisted I should go. I'm pretty proud of it.
