Compassionate Souls - Original Track

This is a recording i did for a youtube video - you can watch it by clicking on the link below.  This song was originally an upbeat pop song from the late 80's, i've always loved the original by Taylor Dayne but i decided to slow it down and put my own spin on it, i hope you like my arrangement, i added some harmonies and extra instruments after recording the vox and guitar to give it more of an orchestral sound.

Wuthering Heights (Kate Bush Cover) by Lynsey Cawthra

Lynsey is a talented singer/songwriter from Leeds, West Yorkshire.  Her style is a mix of acoustic, alternative & experimental.  Lynsey's original music and unique writing style was first spotted by Huw Stephens (BBC 1 Radio Presenter), where she was invited to perform on the BBC Introducing Stages at The Leeds & Reading Festival.  Since then she has rocked the stages at the O2 London and has also worked as a session guitarist/vocalist.  Lynsey has played a variety of festivals as a solo artist, including BBC Music Day, Bingley Music Live and played the same stage as Reggae Legend Maxi Priest at the Leeds Reggae Carnival. 
 
Lynsey has just released her debut E.P with her own original songs that capture real experiences of compassion, love and heartbreak. 'Compassionate Souls EP' is now available to download on itunes:
