Music connects and harmonies unite. This is the basis on which this first joint project by the Freiburg DJ duo was created. 

Lukas aka. Drückeberger: A professional musician to the fullest, studied trumpeter, part of RasgaRasga (https://www.rasgarasga.de/) and the Dreisamkeit Kollektiv (@3samkeitparty).
Almost 3 years ago he began to integrate his musical know-how into Djing and since then he has been improvising live with his trumpet to his sets. 

His musical understanding speaks for itself. Listen to the sounds and the sensitivity with which everything is coordinated and you will get an insight into Lukas' world of music.

Jakob aka. Der letzte Zwilling: Freiburg-based DJ for over 12 years, globetrotter and part of the FjordFest collective (@fjordfest). Music has always played a very important role in his life since he was a child. The time in South America, especially in Sao Paulo, shaped and deepened his musical understanding and the standards of his music. It's all about harmony! This is the key to understanding.
Only those who listen carefully will understand the story that is being told by these two.

1. Wie kommt dein Künstlername zustande ?
Ich wurde in einer Zeit auf der Arbeit immer mit einem Tony Williams verwechselt. Ich selbst heisse ja Thomas Williams. Als ich dann fälschlicherweise zum hundersten mal ein Mail oder einen Anruf erhielt der für Tony bestimmt war, nannten mich alle Arbeitskollegen plötzlich Tony. Dies war die Zeit, denke so 2009 als ich mein SC Profil anlegte. Darum wurde dies auch mein SC Name. Damals dachte ich aber nie, dass ich mal unter diesen Namen auflegen werde.
2. Seit wann legst du auf ? 1985
3. Lieblingsclub ? Ich liebe kleine, unprätentiöse Clubs. Grosse angeberische Clubs oder Clubbetreiber können mir gestohlen bleiben. I really mean it.

It took us a while but we finally got around to recording the set we played at fantastic emotional dream  Bucht der Träumer festival! We were happy to play a secret set just before Matanza during the official break on saturday (12:30-14:00) on our Transdanubia stage with the lovely dancer and people. A big thanks to the greats Felix & Baba to give us the opportunity and suport us , to the whole @gassen-aus-zucker & @heimlichaufsc crew as well as sali (sali.at), yvonne, micha, benjamin, toms @ast47, ivi, timo, balthasar, johannes, harald, nicole, sissi, töphi, philipp, rafi who were responsible for creating such a beautiful Transdanubia floor . Sorry for the mistakes.

As soon as the first sounds echoed through the forest, the sun started shining through the leaves of the trees and before we knew it the dance floor was filled with dancing creatures. 
What a vibe we created together so early in the morning - we are still overwhelmed - thank you all who got out of their tent to dance with us :)!

Ich finde jedes tolle Projekt, gerade wenn es vom Herzen kommt, sollte ein würdiges und schönes Ende haben. Deswegen habe ich mich vor ca. 3 Monaten dazu entschlossen meine Aktivitäten bei Afterhour Sounds und vor allem meine kleine, aber doch sehr feine Podcast-Reihe sound(ge)cloud zu beenden. Anfangs ist diese Entscheidung irgendwie sehr spontan und aus dem Bauch heraus entstanden. Aber nun nach ca. 3 Monaten muss ich sagen ist es eine gute Entscheidung für mich und schafft Platz für Neues … weil Stillstand ist irgendwie nicht so mein Ding. 

Die Gründe wieso ich keine Lust mehr habe so viel Zeit in dieses elektronische Musikdings zu stecken sind vielfältig und eigentlich auch nicht wirklich wichtig. Viel wichtiger ist was ich aus den 5 Jahren mitnehme konnte. Das sind auf jeden Fall viele tolle Momente mit fantastischer Musik. Viele tiefgehende Gespräche mit Menschen die zu Freunden geworden sind. Verrückte Erlebnisse die man eigentlich nur auf Techno-Partys erleben kann. Ich würde sagen ALLES in ALLEM und in SUMME --- Bewusstseinserweiternd.

Für den letzten Podcast war eigentlich auch sofort klar … dass hier nur Doob & Janoma in frage kommen können. Sound(ge)cloud und Janosch und Andi sind eine ganz besondere Beziehung. Ihr erster gemeinsamer Auftritt war auch gleichzeitig mein erster Podcast. Und was gibt es Besseres als mit dem aufzuhören mit dem man angefangen hat. So schließt sich der Kreis und das ganze wird eine runde Sache 😃 5 Jahre sound(ge)cloud und 5 Jahre doob & janoma … eine tolle Experience 💖

Und wie immer bei Doob & Janoma ist der Podcast genau auf den Punkt. Ihre selbst gesetzte Mission für diesen Podcast war „zeitlose Schönheit mit Tiefgang“ für mich zu kreieren. Hey ihr Schnuckis, ich kann dazu nur sagen „mission accomplished“. Besser kann man nicht aufhören …

Neben Andi und Janosch möchte ich mich natürlich bei allen fantastischen Künstlern bedanken, die diese Reihe mit ihrer grenzenlosen Liebe zur elektronischen Tanzmusik zu etwas ganz Besonderem gemacht haben. Es war in 136 Folgen kein Podcast dabei der nicht genau für diesen Moment gepasst hätte --- IHR seid einfach SPITZE.

Und ganz am Ende geht natürlich ein Dickes DANKESCHÖN an meine Hörer weltweit die über die vielen Jahre treu dieser Reihe gefolgt sind geliked, repost und kommentiert haben. Es hat mir große Freude bereitet für euch die Perlen aus dem Dschungel der elektronischen Musik zu tauchen … ich hoffe ihr hattet die ein oder andere großartige Stunde damit.

Und wie ein guter Freund von mir immer sagte, wenn ich mich von ihm verabschiedet habe:

Friends, THANK YOU FOR A MINDBLOWING FUSION! 

It is known that Fusion is a state of mind. Somehow I have very few memories of it this year's festival. But I'm pretty sure I was there. Here's two pieces of evidence: a picture of the rocket, that was found on my phone (the image you see here) 🚀, and a recording named "Fusion 2020" on found on my hard drive.

The backbone of this comes from an intimate but fun open-air here in Copenhagen, that I then readapted some. While recording it I got pretty emotional to be honest. Fusion was my entrance gate to this music, and I haven't skipped a year since 2010. Luckily 2017 showed that summer happens also in the Fusion-less years.

This set is a bit of a BPM rollercoaster. It starts one place, go up, then down, then I drop 20 BPM at once and start again at 90, to end around the 113. I like to think that the different sections will also take you by hand on a little imaginary journey through our favourite playground. We probably start at fernab's beach paradise, head over to Sonnendeck, back to Karla Kutter, jump for a beer at Räuberhöle before heading to Tanzwüste and perhaps a little sprinkle of Bachstelzen - just to make sure that everything is out of control and as crazy as it is supposed to be at this time and place of the year.

Keep strong out there, keep clean outside and dirty inside, and hope to catch you soon, or at the latest at the 2021 rocket-science enthusiasts gathering.

So: here comes my Fusion set for 2020 - don't let the pandemic cheat you and get your yearly dose of rocket medicine.

Shepherd: Well, in a way I'm curious myself. Always when I release a recording and let go of it, I listen to it in a new way than in the process of making it. The podcast is deep, groovy, made for home listening but also has some strong hints to the dancefloor. I surprised myself by including so many tracks with singing or vocal samples.
