Hard Reset

The Hard Reset Project was started to take a step back and focus on my fundamentals as a bass music producer. Primarily mixing and mastering. Vol. 1: Back to the Basics focuses on sample manipulation and using them creatively. Don't let that fool you these took countless hours and restless nights to create. All samples have been paid for. As such this Ep hardly consists of my own sound design with the exception of Disconnects intro, build up, and outro Basses, the drop from I'm Different Now so that I could write my own chords and the Subbass for all of the tracks are my own personalized Sub.

This Track was originally produced in 2021 at the beginning of the year. It contains all original Lysix sound design outside of the brass hits, has been remastered and recieved some additions and minor tweaks to the sounds. This 4 drop trap banger while very dark in tone has a unique layering method Lysix has never used before and an unorthodox tempo. It was recently decided to be added to the Hard Reset Project as a stand alone single. Complete with same treatment as Red Comet.

Originally made to take a shot at lazy riddim producers for being so basic. Red Comet was written for the first time in 2020. It now caters to the Mobile Suit Gundam fans that love bass music. The track has undergone some massive changes over the years but still sounds generally close to the original. It has all original Lysix sound design, heavily modified Char Aznabal vocals, an obscene amount of Gundam FX, a super danceable rhythm and heavy bassline with a godly mixdown. The OG version that was played live in october 2020 doesn't even hold a candle to this. It has recently been added to the Hard Reset Project as a stand alone single.
