Jamie B is a record collector & DJ from the UK residing in Sydney, Australia. He has been collecting vinyl for over 3 decades with an eclectic range of influences including Punk, Dub, Hip Hop, Electro, Disco, House, Techno & everything in between.

In the early 90’s, Jamie fell in love with the sounds of Electro, UK Bleep & Bass & Detroit Techno. Inspired by DJ's such as Dave Clarke, Laurent Garnier & Jeff Mills, he began crafting his skills & playing gigs around London. Today his style still favours Electro & Techno sounds, but with a focus on mixing things up to keep the dancefloor on it’s toes.

Jamie is also a member of the Got Music crew, a convergence of DJs, collectors, visual artists, writers, and musical devotees based in Sydney. Together they host regular events exploring the deeper pockets of electronic music.

'For home use only’ is an anti-club social, a chance to get to know someone/something. A series of transmissions purely dedicated to exploring the other side.

So, welcome back. 

It's been a while but as you’ve heard by now from family and co-workers “its just that time of the year”.  And that it is. Life gets in the way. But all is well - we’re back - you can breathe again, or at least listen to something new whilst you’re trying to breathe. Deep from the other seasonal side we’ve got the ultimate intro to the summer frame of mind, straight from the icy, Moscow winter. Djellaba & Baffuto are responsible: a Russian/French DJ project who double as an architect and a designer. 

We don’t know much about them personally but their music speaks for itself, laden with bliss heavy rhythms, a world of world music and an encyclopedia of sounds. With that in mind, it’s hard not to see them as a perfect fit for this series. The mix in question is audibly stunning, the perfect mellow roller coaster. If you ask us it's destined for an afternoon of backyard drinking with your mates, a few well-made cocktails and the BBQ on low and slow. A great soundtrack for the car ride to the beach, but don't stop there - use it on the sand to drown out some other idiot's overbearing UEboom on low battery and high volume playing that shitty psy-gabber-pop. 

So we hereby welcome you to indulge, hit that illegal download button so you can listen to it again and again because we're hoping you’re all out there somewhere with limited reception doing as little as possible. This mix will not leave rotation for some time.

We've dedicated this mix to our home, Russia and Moscow and the way we perceive it. In the mix, there are several eras of our musical inspiration from trip-hop, ambient and downtempo to modern electronics. This music, which in our case has inspired us at different times over the past ten years and is associated with our home - Moscow."
