Oh my loooorrddd.....this tune! so much memories flooding back just listening to the strings...thank you for this guys! the whole set was a trip down memory lane when i just got into the whole scene in 03/04, so many nostalgic tracks in this set its insane!

this was recorded some years ago, in one spontaneous nightshift. we didn´t know what the "bbc essential radioshow" was and we thought we could always deliver this mix whenever, it wouldn´t matter. then we got that emergency call at night - and we needed to deliver until next morning. so we did. one take. all vinyl. no postproduction and we are still exited and very proud of it. still sounds like mandy. thanx to FLOOR⁴ #F2t4 who found this recording and sent it to us - cause it´s nowhere else in the net.

BBC 1 Essential Mix - M.A.N.D.Y.

Berlin based label-owner, DJ, producer and Promoter.
Best known for the track "Body Language" and the remake of Laurie Andersons "O Superman". Bodmer and his former band partner Philipp Jung, along with DJ T. and Booka Shade are the founders of Get Physical, which became one of the most popular dance labels in the world. M.A.N.D.Y. subsequently provided mixes for other labels, including „At the Controls“,  „Fabric“ and „Renaissance“. Following collaborations with Bob Moses, and Dubspeeka, as well as remixes for Roxy Music, Röyskopp, The Knife and Underworld to name just a few. The long-awaited debut artist album Double Fantasy was released, incl. collaborations with the iconic Jungle Brothers and the classical and experimental pianist Francesco Tristano . 2018 signaled the beginning of a new era for M.A.N.D.Y, since Patrick Bodmer will continue to fly the flag under M.A.N.D.Y. without his former partner and childhood friend Philipp Jung, who started his solo project „Forever Jung“.
