This marked my 10th year out on the blank canvas of creativity, known as the Playa.  It was unforgiving and magnificent and challenging and beautiful all at once. I tell myself every year, this may be my last, that the experience has pushed me to my limits of comfort, and patience.  But literally the second I get back to the default World,  I miss it dearly, and cannot wait to return. The last Come Down mix I made for Burning Man was 5 years ago, and with the explosion of energy and mega high vibes this year, I felt the calling to create another chill-out journey into sound. Think of this mix as your long Exodus back into reality.  Listen closely to the inspiring words of Larry Harvey sprinkled through out the set. This legendary man and his brilliant vision, which he so profoundly describes in his own poetically genius way, is the reason we all make the annual pilgrimage to this desolate barren land of LOVE. "It was a warm Thursday night and I rode up with my crew to the Mayan Warrior linked up with Robot Heart and couldn’t believe my eyes. 
In 9 years of Burning Man I had never seen so many people at one party. 
I always choose to play just one event during the week at Black Rock, preferring to spend the rest of my days and nights exploring and enjoying all the various levels of this incredible experience without the hassle of running from one party to the next. And preparing for my set around 7am I sensed that this was going to be a magnificent morning. I was a little nervous but I had those good butterflies swirling and as the vermilion hue of the pre-dawn began to rise, I stepped up and played this set that you can listen to now. 
I will never forget it.
Being invited to play the Friday sunrise on both buses was a dream come true and I’d like to thank all the thousands and thousands of people that joined me for this special moment and to the dedicated heroes of the Burn that made it possible.

Damian Lazarus - Mayan Warrior x Robot Heart Tie Up - Burning Man 2019

We’re pleased to announce the launch of The Crosstown Mix Show, a new bi-weekly mix series from Crosstown Rebels and Rebellion. Each episode will feature a different member of the label roster taking us on a mind bending journey of upfront, fresh, exclusive music.

The first instalment comes from Damian Lazarus, who explained more about the series:

'Since the beginning of the lockdown, with the inability for DJs to be heard in clubs, we thought that now was a good time to remind people about the quality of the artists we work with at the label. These mixes are a reminder that the art of DJing is still alive and kicking, even while the dancefloors lie dormant.'

The Crosstown Mix Show 001 sets the standard, with the focus on unreleased forward thinking tracks. Deep and twisted electronic music, to be enjoyed both in your head and in your home, a perfect selection also for a dance.

This twice monthly series will also be the first place to hear forthcoming releases on Crosstown, Rebellion and beyond... Upcoming mixes come from Quenum and Alinka.

Hoj's 2012 post-sunrise set atop the Robot Heart at Burning Man has become one of his most popular. What many people don't know is Lee Burridge joined him after his set for an epic back-to-back session that went on into the afternoon. Hoj and Lee found the recording on an old hard drive, and wanted to share.

Berlin based label-owner, DJ, producer and Promoter.
Best known for the track "Body Language" and the remake of Laurie Andersons "O Superman". Bodmer and his former band partner Philipp Jung, along with DJ T. and Booka Shade are the founders of Get Physical, which became one of the most popular dance labels in the world. M.A.N.D.Y. subsequently provided mixes for other labels, including „At the Controls“,  „Fabric“ and „Renaissance“. Following collaborations with Bob Moses, and Dubspeeka, as well as remixes for Roxy Music, Röyskopp, The Knife and Underworld to name just a few. The long-awaited debut artist album Double Fantasy was released, incl. collaborations with the iconic Jungle Brothers and the classical and experimental pianist Francesco Tristano . 2018 signaled the beginning of a new era for M.A.N.D.Y, since Patrick Bodmer will continue to fly the flag under M.A.N.D.Y. without his former partner and childhood friend Philipp Jung, who started his solo project „Forever Jung“.
