After Jose Manuel’s highly acclaimed album Janara on Optimo Music and the curation of the V.A. compilation Milagros Del Ritmo, he returns with his new EP Alchemy, the second vinyl release on Archaic Future Sounds.

It’s a queer psychedelic trip through electronic reinterpretations of tropical ritual chimes from South East and Southern Asia with a touch of Tribal and Acid House. Chugging beats seasoned with percussive flutes are enveloped by warm synthesizer sounds, heavy basslines and exotic melodies.

The antithesis is the trippy remix produced by Front De Cadeaux, who released on Antinote, a dub influenced future classic of deconstructed club music and as a wrong-speeder you can always choose your own tempo! Influenced by 90s Afro Cosmic Music, magic mushrooms and LSD it’s perfect for all passionate DJs, clubs and dancers!

Adding to her influence, MIJU not only graces the Baltic and Balkan music scene but also pioneers’ inclusivity by hosting the first non-heteronormative party series embracing queerness and all genders under the title 'Dekonstrukcija'. MIJU has one EP release ‘Metatron’, and maintains a regular presence on Radio Vilnius, further solidifying her impact in the electronic music scene.

Nick Mackrory (Forgotten Corner / Colona Records) - Infrared E.P

Following noticeable releases on Tone Dropout, Overthink, Shadow Play and Art Of Dark, frenchman Daïf returns to his own imprint for LUMINAERE 002 Highways of Life. Distancing from the spacey atmosphere of the first one, this four tracker captures a personal side of Daïf’s musical identity, powerful and twisted.

On the A side, Downtown spiral sets the tone of the EP. Field with melodic pads and ear-piercing leads this 4/4 track bursts with energy. Then follows Burnout, perhaps the most complex of the four. UK garage like style, mesmerizing bass lines and pads, buckle up, you’re in for a 200 mph drive. 

On the B side, Terrible Lie is a hot banger with a ravy old school flavor. Warehouse synths, cheesy vocal samples, stabby leads and melodic pads, this one is guaranteed to do some damage. Finally, closing off is Exhaust-ed, hauntingly beautiful track with powerful breaks interleaved with acid bass lines going back and forth with melodic chords.
