Part 4 of my history of really fucking dark drum & bass looks at the aftermath of the neuro explosion, with acts like Noisia becoming worldwide superstars and producers like Bulletproof, Black Sun Empire and Spor cementing themselves as household names. In the mid to late 2000s a new sound was forming, merging HARD drum & bass with 4/4 hardcore rhythms...crossbreed was born.

Thumpa - The History Of Really Fucking Dark Drum & Bass (The Exodus 2006 - 2009)

South London Based DJ & Producer Shinobi aka Raamiz St Hill has been honing his studio skills for many years. His style is heavily inspired by the drum and bass sounds of the 90's and early 2000's, while incorporating elements of Funk, Soul, Jazz, Reggae & Hip Hop.
His debut album on Architecture Recordings serves as a showcase of these influences as well as showcasing his unique take on underground dance music.
