The prominent Swedish duo of Elfenberg(@elfenberg) returns to the label after featuring with the wicked “Kebabsyra”on Rotten Citizens (@rotten-city-records) Compilation Vol.4. They've recently released music on labels such as Les Yeux Orange, Feines Tier and Hard Fist. The return to Rotten City will see the light of the long awaited “Elfenboogie EP”, containing three powerful peak time tracks with all the flavors they like: Acid, Disco and Tribal vibes.
“Vasta La Hista” is a clear example of a club bomb. Direct, raw, and psychedelic. 100% effective but non generic!

“Acid Cocoon’” dig into the darker vibes with a spooky and sexy female voice in a “Post-Electroclash” exercise.
With “Elfenboogie” they show us again their favorite elements; Percussion, drive, a soulful vocal and some random weirdness to top it off. "Let's do the Elfenboogie", "Come n Elfenboogie with us”, they always joked around with the term, that now is the title track on this very EP.

The release is complemented with a remix from Julian Sanza & Alvaro Cabana Remix. Both DJs residents at Kaputt Club (Bogotá) joining forces again to turn the Classic Disco vibe of “Elfenboogie” into a trippy and cosmic interpretation.

AAAAOA! Alright, let’s dive into the three steps to elevate the vibes and health of your sacred dancefloor.

1. Gather up the 100 of your finest, most infectious grooves from your library. These should be the beats that make your feet move like they’re possessed by the spirit of rhythm.

2. Be brutally honest and give the boot to at least 50 of them. That's right, tell them they suck, then hit CTRL+ALT+DELETE. We’re only curating excellence in this house of housemusic!

3. Now, embark on a quest to find 50 fresh grooves. Introduce them to the remaining originals and ensure they blend into the groove family, becoming the best of mates.

Bonus step: Grab a copy of “Pump It Up (Dancing on Lego Aoa Edit)” only to be used for those moments when your original 100 just isn't cutting it. And if you’re feeling particularly naughty, drop the volume when the vocals hit the second time for that unexpected twist and sing-a-long good times.
