Hologram Teen returns with the third single from her upcoming album “Captain Fluo”: “Fréquence Gaie” features the unmistakable vocals of Maxwell Farrington, blending crooner-style elegance with bittersweet new wave textures.

A poignant and nostalgic ode to queer adolescence, “Fréquence Gaie” tells the story of a lonely teenager coming of age in 1980s Paris. Lost in a world of static and solitude, the protagonist stumbles upon a lifeline: a pirate-like radio station broadcasting queer voices into the night. With each transmission, a sense of belonging grows stronger, turning isolation into connection.

Sonically, the track channels the romantic melancholy of Scott Walker and the bouncing pulse of early 80s synth-pop. Hologram Teen’s signature production—lush, cinematic, and rich in retro-futurist details—provides a funky and driving backdrop for Farrington’s velvet baritone.
“Fréquence Gaie” is the emotional core of “Captain Fluo”, a concept album that celebrates the underground culture of 1980s Paris: its gay bars, record shops, and radio waves that offered secret worlds to those who needed them most.

Dream Chimney proudly presents "Tidal Figures," the new EP from Paris based producer Sim Fossil. The release is a deep dive into cosmic soundscapes, synth melodies, heavy basslines weaving together elements of house, nu-beat, and ambient into a truly unique, low-BPM fusion. Across four original tracks, "Tidal Figures" explores a quiet duality of space and time. "Echo Marina" and "Nyrosine" bask in a soft, melodic glow, while "Null Meridian" and "Backcurrent" plunge listeners into a darker, even slower synthetic haze. The tracks are all driven by deep, slow basslines and shimmering synths that feel heavy and submerged, reminiscent of a half-speed Harold Faltermeyer adrift in an underwater voyage.

Adding to the EP's allure, "Tidal Figures" features two remixes from revered artists Max Essa and Project Sandro. Balearic luminary Max Essa takes on "Echo Marina," infusing it with his signature magic touch while preserving its gentle tempo. Project Sandro, the collaborative vision of Rollmottle and Tony Watson, then propels "Null Meridian" into an even deeper, outer space cruiser, showcasing their masterful blend of studio expertise and vision. DC Promo Tracks: Sim Fossil "Echo Marina"

Hailing from Germany’s prolific Rhein-Main area, Frankfurt’s M.in gained his momentum as global player over the last 2-3 years. As producer, DJ, label head and booking agency owner his modern house and techhouse-style clearly owes to the Frankfurt heritage, yet M.in never claimed that promotional tag. He’s sitting firmly in the driver’s seat when it comes to his very own style. You can easily dub his beats trademark, bowing to the craftsmanship M.in has developed and refined with his dozens of releases. 

His artist name playfully quotes the minimalism that ruled for long time in German electronics. In fact, M.ins tracks are far from minimal. The only minimal formulae is his credo demanding “the groove to carry the whole track from the core”. From there on, anything can happen! And M.in is known to churn out tracks that conquer hearts and souls with various ingredients: groove, swing, bite, humour and musicality.  „Every track has to have a vibe first““, he says. Well, easy to sign that partition... yet hard to accomplish the task M.in so easily masters. 

M.in’s tracks flow organic and uplifting. With influences from Afrobeat, Latin or his beloved swinging jazz, teaming up with that straight draw of a mighty lowered kick drum and bass. M.in can pair any sound with his down to earth grooves, showcasing open mindedness, curiosity and the sheer lust to experiment with uncommon sounds.
