Tronic’s next release is featuring label head’s Christian Smith’s second remix pack. The duties to remix “Mutate” are upon the groovy Kaiserdisco boys which have manage to create a funky version of the track, it will keep you moving. Sub bass, stomping drums and leading arpeggiated synth lines. The great Dosem is at it on the second remix. “Who You Are” is a banging, rolling, dance-heavy track with an 80’s synth long the way, pure excellence. The third piece of the EP is a rework of Christian’s track “Motor” from Dave Angel, this is the bass leading – 6 a.m monster piece of the pack, ace melodies, big synths and a sense of placidity.

September 2014 saw the release of Wind It Up, Joel Mull&#8217;s stunning debut release with MOOD and one of the labels strongest and most popular releases to date. Fresh from working on new music with Sasha, the Stockholm native returns to Nicole Moudaber&#8217;s ever growing imprint to fly solo once again on his Buzzers EP.

The titanic trio are lead by Buzzers. The rise and fall of the metallic droplets oil this mighty techno machine as the march of its kick drum rolls like the constant throb of a diesel engine. Dark and deadly. 

Erector Pili sees Joel delivering a relentless tribal pattern wrapped in dreamy atmospheric and moving waves of synth. Final cut Pulhapanzak seems to combine elements of both the previous tracks. The ferocity of the lead track and the sweeping, ghostly atmosphere of the second, to create an excellent finale.

Pascal Nuzzo teams up with Subjects for a three-fold rollercoaster into the shadows and the title track sets the tone immediately via a dislocated bassline that is the star of the affair, together with futuristic stabs, vocals reiterating the title and an apocalyptic breakdown. On &#8220;Maybe&#8221;, mutated chords complement the rocksteady rhythm section, while live snare edits are sprinkled alongside spoken-word passages. &#8220;Transporter&#8221; picks up from there and seals the deal with juicy sub-bass, hypnotic electronics and even more warped vocals.

It seems as if 15 years have quickly flown by since we first opened our doors at the base of the famous Oberbaumbrücke joining Berlin’s Kreuzberg and Friedrichshain districts. With countless long nights into majestic mornings and open airs in our beloved city to showcases spanning the globe, Watergate has grown to include a booking agency and a record label pushing the sounds of our mainstay artists and some of the most revered acts in the scene. To celebrate our journey over the last decade and a half we have put together a special anniversary release of 25 new, exclusive and formerly unreleased tracks to be released as a 2x CD set with our traditional Watergate artwork as well as a special collector's edition box set as a 5x vinyl, 2x CD package including a commemorative art print, two free entries to the club itself and the very special photo book ‘Sound Travels’ by Linus Dessecker which features photos and interviews of artists that played at Watergate when they arrived or left Berlin, all wrapped up in a sleek minimalistic package entitled “WATERGATE XV”.

'Cerillo’s Matchbox imprint drops it’s third release and they are really finding their feet with this one. This time around he’s recruited fellow Dubliner - Andrew Azara of Rendr Records fame who’s gaining top tier support at the moment from the likes of the PIV crew, and also Jack Swift - who’s tight discography has seen his releases on Madtech Records and Inermu garner the attention of Chris Stussy, Toman, Prunk and Seb Zito.

We kick off with “Ember” - it’s a little deeper from Cerillo’s usual stuff but packs layers of nice pads and sounds which build nicely towards an unmistakably addictive Trance-esque lead. It still packs his signature jacking hat and thumping kick/bassline arrangement.

The B-Side on this one is “Rinsed” which is really pad-rich but on closer inspection you can hear the many layers it incorporates, and further down the track we’re met by some dark stabs and a drop sure to wow any crowd. Complete as always with that Cerillo punch.

Remix #1 comes from Jack Swift, he’s the king of skippy and you’ll see why when you play his remix of “Ember” or any of his work for that matter. This remix toys around with some new and existing elements shining glimpses of light at each and really keeping us interested and moving through out!

Remix #2 comes from Andrew Azara, he’s been gaining top tier support lately from the likes of Jesse Maas, Toman and Tommy Vercetti. He’s completely flipped “Rinsed” on it’s head with his Piano Acid interpretation (complete with old-skool breakdown) and given us something sure to move the bigger rooms and festivals (on return!) alike.'
