I learned this song many many years ago, when I was about 10 years old while I sat in as a little child in my first young people's meeting back in my parents' hometown, Cagayan de Oro City, Philippines. I never sang it again since I moved to the US --no one really knows this song here, except for VERY few saints who are either Filipino or have visited the Philippines for a blending trip. But recently I have been recollecting many precious, almost forgotten memories from my childhood, and this song came to mind. "Sweet, Sweet Repose" is something that sounded lovely to me then as a child, but is so intimate and relatable to me now as an adult. It's like this song was written so I could enjoy it at this exact stage and time of my life. I thought of sharing it with you all.
