M Ocean warmly welcomes Dreamworkers a drum and bass producer hailing from Prague with a decade of experience in the industry. With a deep and liquid sound, Dreamworkers' music has been released on a number of respected labels, including DNBB, Liquid Brilliants, Lizplay Records, Influenza, and Celsius Records.

Despite the recognition he has received for his work, Dreamworkers remains humble and appreciative of the support he receives from the drum and bass community, including airplay on the regarded Bassdrive radio shows and support from DJs worldwide. He is dedicated to continuously improving his craft and pushing the boundaries of the genre with his unique style and approach to production and he is grateful for the opportunity to share his passion for music with the world.

One of the newest additions to the M Ocean family, Keylo & Twelve Step Audio ‘What’s Happening’ comprises three incredible tracks, filled with heartfelt melodies. Guaranteeing to enthral listeners, while displaying the passion they have for music is undeniable. 

Soothing glimmering opening portrays an enchanting scene. A serene melody builds as Keylo’s voice soars, emitting warmth with every note. Drawing the listener further in is Twelve Step Audio, his reflective raw lyricism on today’s society ‘What’s Happening’ coupled with the flawless production from Keylo supplies a blissful concoction to create a smooth rolling liquid masterpiece. 

Remix from con-Figure who is currently number 3 in the Juno Download Album chart takes the carefully crafted beats and puts his trademark  style on it. Gliding the listener through a path of musical depth into an introspective and sonic baseline, known for his ability to captivate atmospheric liquid jazzy sounds and he’s done it to a T! 

Taking the release to a deeper dimension, Keylo has produced ‘What’s Happening’ Trip version encapsulating Twelve Step Audio’s energy while creating down tempo beats alongside the vocals to match a moody melodic vibe!

“What’s Happening from my perspective, comes from a place of exasperation and rebellion. While there are many beautiful things in this world, in the modern-day it’s also full of corruption, dishonesty and conflict, which can at times make it an exasperating place.

In What’s Happening, I wanted to reflect on the fact that even if we are often forced to be involved with and contribute to flawed and imbalanced systems, we simultaneously retain the power and strength of mind to reject and rebel against them. Just because the world is an ugly place, doesn’t mean we need to become ugly people ourselves.” (Twelve Step Audio)

“What’s happening was originally a solo project, but listening back I thought it needed the presence of an MC Tom (Twelve Step Audio) who I had worked with previously was my first thought.
Tom was excited from the off-set, and I knew his bars wouldn’t disappoint. His amazing style and I love how his accent compliments his material, which I would describe as deep and intelligent lyrics that work so perfectly with liquid. My hook is from personal experiences but the beauty of our collaboration made the track so much wider reaching. I had produced this track specifically to pitch to M-Ocean as I loved their ethos and repertoire and was really excited that they loved the track as much as we did.” (Keylo)

Empty Room” is exactly what fans expect from underground heavy hitters within drum & bass, Marcos K-Marx & DJ LLIW has verified themself as artists who are carving out a place within the genre, with its tantalising builds and weaves through sways of synths & Jungle style beats, spurring its winding bassline which dips and bends between the mix. Stabs of female vocals split the composition by instrumental patterns kicking the sounds into life. “Empty Room” will pull in crowds for sure.

 “A song with several electro-acoustic elements, including the classic Moog bass, followed by a beautiful female vocal with a lo-fi efx, all of this could only require a funk drum kit with modern drum roll, this whole mix to result in something danceable and at the same time touching our spirit.”

 The dropping bass levels in “Body To Body” shake this track to its core. Each kick drives it’s impact deeper and deeper, before you’re pulled along by its crushing tides of sonic and bassy beats. Melodic female vocal samples sifting their way through the body of work whilst digging deep on the sound to prove Marcos K-Marx is staying true to his aesthetics.

 “A new update to the DAW I use (Logic) was recently released, and along with this update came new plugins that I was eager to test, one of them is Bass Studio, a bass emulator. I thought I'd try to make some bass lines and soon a simple melody came up that I needed to turn into a song, something funky... so I started making a very swinging drum kit, completing it with pads and other elements. Consequently, the need for a female vocal came up to bring a delicate and at the same time tense touch, and thus the song Body by Body was born. A simple test of a new tool brought me a new track and a new joy.”

 Winding up the release is “pump That” a naughty party favourite, booming gritty basslines and tight drum work, hard hitting synths that will get your party started.

M Ocean records is excited to welcome the high energy power of Baska & DJ LLIW to the rooster with this dope co-lab. The duo have gained strong support from DJs right across the scene, and received instantly positive reactions from club support. 
 
Techy drum patterns burst into the intro flavours set up an infectious backdrop for ‘Up Jungle’ Baska & DJ LLIW use the expressive vocal sample. Switching on the drop to a modern Jungle workout, they inject huge low subs and savage wobbles to the journey. Vocal toasts and slick drum rearrangements roll out this mix.
 
Keeping the energy going from ‘Up Jungle’ the track develops towards a more stripped down conclusion. ‘Shadow’ creates layers of sub bass and crisp beats glued with authentic and weighty bassy tones. Showered with echoed licks from the hook leaving space for a more drum led take.

Baska is a DJ and producer of Drum and Bass and is part of the new generation of Brazilian producers.
Baska started DJing in 1980, spinning in search of knowledge, technique and musical feeling to conquer his place in the electronic music scene.
In 2021 he started in music production, specifically Drum and Bass and its subgenres. Baska carries out his work aiming at the development and improvement of his musical productions, as well as the growing dissemination of Drum and Bass in Brazil and in the world.

DJ Lliw started his love for music watching his dad who “I remember he made a wooden landing so I could reach the mixer buttons. With a pair of Gradiente turntables, a Stanton mixer and a Sony MD, I learned the basic mixing techniques and a little production. My school was 90s Funk (Miami, Funk Melody, Charme, Rap and Montagem) with a dose of Soul, Funk and Rock. It was by producing montages that I learned to sample and started building things with excerpts from other songs (Dr. Bass and D. Conrrad) were my mentors, as a teenager, I played in clubs, bars, events in my city and region, but I left everything a little aside after graduating from high school and went to study and work and music remained as a hobby. During this time I was already getting to know drum ’n’ bass and trying out some things. I did work with Thiago Muniz (T-Muniz from Franca-SP). We managed to release sounds through LuvDisaster Records, we participated in projects by DNB Brazil, the DJ. Rusty played one of our songs on his Rádio Promo Audio program.

Opening on a frenzied note, the drama is present from the first note, building in complexity and anticipation before the drop. The energy expressed is signature style razor sharp Sci-Fi sounds. A musical masterpiece that will make all dance.

A journey through dark reverberations and intricate neurofunk patterns continues. “Sleep Walker” is melodious vision out of the standard canons emerge energetic ferocious beats. 

“Secret Window” starts out low winding beats, turning way for frantic thrashing tecky patterns. Adrenaline fuelled dancefloor weapons with a Sci-Fi twist, Secret Window” is certainly no exception, building in complexity and anticipation before the drop.

Ivan Mezenin AKA Dizlunr studied and honed his skills for a lot of time, and finally ready to present his work. His style of music is imbued with the atmosphere of nature, space and mystery with elements of technology, cyberfunk and love. Let there be music!!!
