This is one of my old works conducted as a practice of composing music on PC. Created and recorded on 2000s. It was composed with the image of drifting alone in outer space and spending endless time.

Fiore - piano improvisation

Toru Takemitsu (1930-1996) is one of the most famous Japanese composers in the world. He has composed a great deal of innovative sounding contemporary music as well as many familiar "songs". Small Sky is one such song, and is familiar to many people as a choral or solo piece.
This track was originally arranged for piano accompaniment for my solo singing, but I felt that I could bring out a different charm of this music without the singing part, so I released it as a piano solo cover.

Prelude on starry night (for piano, revised)

It is very hot at night in Japan today, so I improvised some cool music on the piano. I gave it this title because the repeated phrases sounded like wind chimes swaying in the wind.

This piece is one of the most my favorite piano works by her. These simple but emotional melody and chord progression let me remember the precious time in my memory, such as staying with the beloved who has never seen again.

Tomomi, the composer kindly allowed me to upload this performance to my SNS space. I really appreciate to her kind acceptance and encouraging comment regarding the performance.
