Hi Guys I'm an aspiring artist who wants to make it to the big time (well eventually). I've always enjoyed singing...even in the car (yeah I was probably that nutter you passed sinnging his heart out in the car). When I ain't (or restraining myself from) singing, I do a lot of music writing. I feel that lyrics are crucial to everyone's lives, we listen to music when were sad and listen to music when we happy. The art of music brings people together and closer to the artist. People need to be able to relate to a story of a song, and that's what I try and do, alongside a colleague of mine who I write with. The songs that I write have meaning to me, and I feel strongly (and passionate) that many people can relate to the words in the song. Before I started creating my image (MtotheJ) I was a Business Undergraduate who had studied business for numerous years (around 6...I know, long time right).
My dream has always been to be an artist and change people's lives (and my own), and I thought "if you don't try you don't get" so why not give it a shot.  To be honest my main reason for being an artist is not to make money (yeah it's a bonus) but is to pass my experience's onto others through the median of music, by being able to connect with people out there who are going (or been) through the same scenario's as I have. If my music inspires another or helps one person improve their life...then...it would have been well worth it. Please feel free to listen to my songs and leave comments.
