Trans-Atlantic dark rockers Johnathan|Christian appreciate a challenge. So when alternative publication OC Weekly put out a call asking who’s ‘musician enough’ to accept their “Great Cover Song Challenge” the gauntlet was thrown and accepted: http://tinyurl.com/gow38db

Little did they know the original artist was probably the furthest thing from their goth roots and black hearts: Air Supply!

“I definitely had a good laugh when I heard the original and wasn’t sure how to make this our own,” said Johnathnan Mooney “but after the laughter dies then come the tears, and that was when I knew we had something to work with”.

Johnathan|Christian are Swedish Post-Punk Singer Christian Granquist, who played with the members of the pop trio Day Behavior and is the keyboardist for the electronic band “The Atom”, along with Tiger Koehn and Johnathan Mooney, also both veterans of the alt. music scene and members of the critically acclaimed 90’s goth band “The New Creatures”.

Recorded at Single Malt Studios in Mission Viejo, CA, Glyph Studio Williamsburg (Brooklyn) and Calypso Electronique, Stockholm, Sweden.
