Akuma debuts on Warlock Audio with Throne - a sinister slab of dark neurofunk drum & bass. From the first bar, the track drips with dread: eerie atmospheres and ghostly synths set the tone before plunging into a storm of creeping reese bass and razor-sharp drumwork. Each element is meticulously crafted, with dark, distorted textures weaving through a framework of surgical precision. Throne is a statement of intent - grim, relentless, and undeniably powerful. A chilling introduction to Akuma’s sound.

In a landscape where concrete giants crumble faster than the sirens can fade, Nervorum transmits a digital distress signal called Shelter. Spanning eight movements, it unspools like a found footage diary of survival: the first thunderclap of drums yanks the listener awake beneath a blanket of dust, and the last sub-bass heartbeat drags a battered body across the threshold of an underground refuge.

Each piece is a freeze-frame in a single, urgent escape. Jagged breakbeats flicker like emergency strobes, fractured synths crackle with the static hum of radioactive fallout, and a coiling bass line exerts a gravitational pull toward safety. What begins as blind panic becomes deliberate momentum, as a weary pulse syncs with the mechanized rhythm of the ruins and transforms into an engine of resistance.

Shelter stands as a sonic chronicle of human tenacity—encoded, preserved, and released by Paperfunk Recordings at a moment when the concept of sanctuary feels more myth than memory. Within its eight digital chapters beats one unbroken message: even after the black rain, music remains a map, marking the single route out of the dark.

The siren howls so low it makes the ribs ring. One word flares on the board — SHATTER. Netsphere drops the visor. In her headset, a dry voice: “Paperfunk Recordings. Arena Three. Contact in eight.”

There’s no count — time stretches into a single string. The bass hammers fate from the inside, engines cut the air. The track is a needle’s eye between rusted frames of cars and broken overpasses: one mistake and you’re thrown into the white noise of the ether.

A rival’s shadow slides past, spraying sparks. “The crack isn’t in the metal. It’s in you,” she thinks. The shatter point is the instant your hand reaches for the brake. Either you go through, or it breaks you.

Pedal buried. Instruments blacked out. The bass settles into a steady heat. A blind turn — a hair from the rail, where the air hasn’t been taught to fear yet.

The finish flashes white. A two-beat pause.
“Recording received: Netsphere — Shatter Point. Paperfunk Recordings.”

It wasn’t her that split today — it was the track. Build another. Faster.
