With deep roots that stretch from ambrosial Kerala to the golden coast of California, CHA CHA’s (@cha-cha-pillai) sound is inspired by purling polyrhythms from cultures beyond the West. Their devotion to tabla, djing, and modular synthesis, guides them through universal sonic spaces.

Mother and sound engineer of Corduroy Garden Soundsystem, CHA CHA organizes hi-fidelity techno-forward experiences in Los Angeles underground. They have worked with crews and curators such as New Palm, Pranks!, Printshop, Vitamin1k, FeM Synth Lab, Acid Camp and United Selector Network.

"With this mix I intend to highlight my everlasting love for cheeky, freaky productions and wormhole bass lines while exploring the mesmerizing technicalities of drum traditions from around the world. One of the most exciting and influential figures in contemporary underground electronic music, Vladimir Ivkovic is not just a DJ, but a storyteller of sounds, a connoisseur of music and a brilliant artist. With a unique talent for selecting records and slowly inviting them to intertwine into complex and compelling narratives, Vladimir has been pushing the boundaries of electronic music since the 80s. 

Although he has been making music for almost two decades, he really honed his craft and gained exposure when he became resident at Düsseldorf’s Salon des Amateurs club alongside Lena Willikens, Toulouse Low Trax and Wolf Muller.

Immerse yourself in two hours of deep listening with this Rasputin-like, but actually very gentle man who explores notions of beauty and tranquility through unusual frequencies created by playing records at the wrong speed.

Dutch West Coast selector, Intergalactic Gary is in charge of this month's episode of The MUSAR Show, delivering a 90-minute flawless journey through raw Chicago house, hidden Italo gems, and chugging electro tracks. Connecting electronic music bridges at its best, enjoy! 

With more than 35 years behind the decks, Intergalactic Gary involved in The Hague music scene since day one, started in the early 90s by playing squat and club parties which later continued as a residency at The Hague's first-ever house club in 1992, playing regional pirate radio stations and travel around the world through the years and become a regular guest at some of the most respectable music festivals and clubs, such as Dekmantel Festival/Selectors, IFM Festival, Unsound, Tresor, De School to name a few.

In the studio he’s laid down mutant, disco-tinged electro as The Parallax Corporation and electro and ambient synth pop soundtracks as The Conservatives, both with I-F. He's also recently collaborated with Pasiphae on Bio Rhythm, and for Stroboscopes and Smokemachines, a new documentary about underground electronic music. He aims simply to make music he would want to hear on a night out and imbues his work with a sense of melancholy, but always paired with driving dance floor dynamics that mix up analogue and digital textures.
