412DNB's studio mix series mashes down the dance each month featuring finely curated selections from across the drum and bass spectrum mixed by 412DNB / FUZZ / BBT DJs and special guests across the local and national D&B scenes

Operating on the outskirts of the Drum & Bass scene, Michael Kaiser is primarily known for his various forays into house, techno and bass as a part of the House Plants music collective in Pittsburgh.  While always playing loosely with genre, these parties have greatly expanded in BPM range and vibe over time, often ending up in jungle territory. 
Michael continues this trend here by mixing up a wide spectrum of sounds in this meditation on his love of Jungle & DnB.

Michael Kaiser is a DJ and DIY party appreciator native to Los Angeles and based in Pittsburgh.
Equally at home digging through stacks for old gems or soaking up the spectrum of modern electronic music, he is driven by uncovering and highlighting the connective threads running through a diverse range of sounds and rhythms.
He draws from techno, house, dub and the many shades of UK bass music, often venturing outside and in between and playing with an aim of balancing experimentalism with the cultivation of a happy dance floor.

This mix explores intersections between organic and synthetic and the junction of serious and playful.

It ended up being a blend of improvisation with my modular rig and fragments that i wrote for the set. Expect to hear parts of this eventually released :)
