Born and raised in Brazil, Luiz Fernando Ribeiro aka LuizFribs delivers an energetic, acid and hard-driven live performance through aggressive melodies, heavy kicks and strong basslines, always supported by his violin, an old mate who is present in his life since the early days. His characteristic sound is strongly influenced by 80s synthpop, 90s trance and modern techno, has been out in labels such as The Meaning of Rave (POL), IAMT (ESP), Autektone (ITA) and Nin92wo (BRA) and have received great supports from artists such as D.A.V.E. The Drummer, SPFDJ, Ramiro Lopez, Deborah de Luca and Anfisa Letyago. Fribs incorporates the violin into Techno on a very distinctive and unusual way, distorting, looping, stretching and heavily processing it in order to give the instrument a more modern and brutal sound. His live performance is marked by dynamic improvisations, where he feels free to create full tracks on demand, but also to execute his already known and released ones. In 2018, he was considered by the electronic music specialized website Play BPM one of the new highlights of the Brazilian Midwest Techno scene. Counting on a regular releases calendar, LuizFribs is frequently featured at Goiânia Techno events’ line-up, such as Lost and Found, Shadow and Room Noise. The artist is always working on new tracks and evolving his live performance, and his work is definitely one to have an eye kept.

When you’ve already asked an artist six times for an EP, you just know there’s something special about his music. We’re glad to welcome you once again into the world of Remcord.

With his Sura EP the French producer takes the concept of ‘less is more’ to a whole new level. His minimalistic approach on electronic music translates itself into three immersive melodic house tracks.  With the title- and opening track ‘Sura’ Remcord raises the bar in terms of psychedelic atmospheres. ‘Jalo’ on the other hand is the kind of track that hypnotizes a whole dancefloor with its warm and emotional synth chords. Last but not least ‘Tera’ is characterized by the endless arpeggio that floats through the extremely well crafted musical composition.

With this EP Remcord proves again why he’s one of the most promising French producers out there at the moment!

Maïdo is a French techno DJ and producer whose roots stem from the free party movement. A movement that spawned the rave scene where he would start his journey towards the world of raw techno. 

In 2011, Maïdo created THE FREAKSHOW event concept at Batofar, Paris. This successful event fused together techno sounds and burlesque shows with live pyrotechnic special effects. It was during these events that Maïdo met LGML and Elomak, with whom he would undertake new projects and go on to create Sugoï Club and DRØM in the years following, catering to crowds of 1500+.

In parallel with his collaborative projects on the Parisian electronic music scene and his ongoing presence behind the turntables, Maïdo has expanded his activities to include music production. He has been releasing deep techno tracks with record labels like DSR Digital, Human Garden, Rubik's recording and is now travelling to share his unique experience of underground Parisian electronica to audiences around the world.
