peachlyfe emerges from the high-speed, forward-thinking Copenhagan Techno scene; known for their energetic approach to production coupled with an affiliation for peculiar rhythms and a desire to explore the outer reaches of dance music.

‘Creeper’ sets the standard; unveiling as a fast-paced, itchy and foreboding blend of highly charged kickdrums, rolling hats and sticky, palpitating synths. Nene H, a dynamic producer with strong ties to the Danish capital through her residency at one of the cites most loved parties ‘Endurance’, is on hand to remix- turning in a late-night tale that moves amidst the shadows.

The low-slung groove of ‘Trashman’ is as hypnotic as they come; the type of mind-bending composition that leaves you questioning what exactly just happened, bringing the A-side to a gripping close.

Industrial and brooding, ‘Burst’ opens the B-side with a bang, followed by ‘Elemental Friend’, a trance-leaning cut, blended with percussion that strikes down like metallic fists.

Perfumery is delighted to announce its third release from Danish DJ, producer and promoter Asmus Odsat. The four-track Third Eye Street View EP expands upon Copenhagen’s fast-techno sound with a magpie-like approach incorporating musical elements from across the spectrum of electronic music, brought together through a collaborative production and mixing process alongside Perfumery label-owner Sugar. The eponymous opening track’s steel-capped kicks lean towards gabber, before it reaches across the North Sea to borrow deftly-chopped breakbeats and soaring, teary-eyed pads from the UK’s hardcore continuum. ‘Grounded’ further ramps up the contrast, as an effervescent, Italo-like arpeggio ricochets off of bulletproof drums, while ‘Mindre Skulder’ and ‘Stammer Jammer’ do away with notions of melody altogether. The former opts for a path of thundering and fizzing rhythm while ‘Stammer Jammer’ centres itself around towering blasts of distorted noise, recalling early Ben Frost or Emptyset in all their single-minded ferocity.

Ø [Phase] is one of the most interesting artists around, representing England, he explores new facets of techno with his mesmerising and progressive productions as well as fulfilling the functional needs of a club DJ. Launching his own label Modwerks in the process of releasing his third album titled Before This, it once again shows his depth as a creative marksman and fearless experimenter.

For this DT:Premiere we selected the track “Morphic-R that wastes no time taking off. Rolling and pulsing synth jabs lay under flickering hats and a stomping beat that create the energetic mood. Later the hook opens up with audio effects for stronger impact and static textures add a delicate touch to the impeccable sound design.
