This is the recording of the Silent Disco Ecstatic Dance Hybrid set that we played on the beach at Pranamar in Santa Teresa, Costa Rica during the full moon in aquarius on july 23rd 2021.

It was such a magical night. The fact that everyone was listening to the music on wireless headphones allowed them to immerse themselves fully in the sounds while connecting with nature, with the feet in the ocean dancing under the full moon. What a magical night it was. We hope you can feel the medicine of this magical co-creation with the moon and the deep blue sea.

This set was filmed on September 20th, 2021 to align with the full moon equinox energy. The set is totally improvised between Janax Pacha and I. I have a collection of loops that make up the ingredients of the different tracks that we move through with the timing and weaving of these loops being totally improvised based on the energy of each unfolding moment.  We had no plan for which songs to explore and just did our best to tune in and listen to what wanted to come through. You can see us communicating here and there just to establish the key of the track and the bpm - beyond that the conversation is just through feeling the vibes.

The island behind us is called Es Vedra and it has quite a mythology around it and a reputation for being one of the most potent vortex points on the earth. With the combination of all of these energies, this set was incredibly powerful for those few of us present for us. When we finished I felt like I was journeying with an entheogenic substance. This for me is a beautiful sign that we journeyed to deep places and opened ourselves as channels for something meaningful and hopefully transformational to come through us as musicians. I can only hope that this journey offers something of meaning to you in your current process.

A Full Moon can be both a blessing and a challenge!
Exactly as the creation of this set was for me…

After a long time being away from the process of curating and recording a musical storytelling, plus the challenge to include an original recorded song (which I did not have and I had to create), makes this set extra special to my heart.

Listening and feeling deeply about the intention and wish of my friend Buket Polat to create an inward journey to support a ceremonial act to follow her newest creation of a Full Moon Ritual Kit, as well as my own intuition and taste of what I would like to hear while performing such a ritual, I came up with music that resembles the different elemental stages of the ritual and it is intentionally crafted to connect the listener with his/her deeper and unseen side.

Placing the heart space, at last, I have exclusively recorded a love song, which communicates a real and personal experience of a love story that did take place… once on a moon!

My wishes and intention are with every listener, for this musical journey to serve you well so that you might also feel and listen to the deeper sides of yourself and bring them to light.

Maïlé Moon (Makhosi Ngonakame) is an Evolutionary Astrologer, Initiated Sangoma/Makhosi African Ancestral Healer and Musician. Born from a Swiss Mother and African Father, she has been bridging worlds and cultures her whole life following the call of Spirit through mysterious ways. She has been working with Cacao for the past 8 years through living in the mayan lands of Guatemala most of the time, travelling back and forth to Europe and Africa. 

She studied Sound Alchemy and is very connected to ancestral sounds, intuitive singing and medicine songs that she composes through channeling messages of the Earth and of her Ancestral Guardians.

Passionate about all these specific fields of healing, Maïlé Moon created a fusion practice using the wisdom of Astrology to direct her ritual work, while centering her work around Nature & Shamanism. Her African Spiritual Wisdom helps her connect to Spirit through plants, animals and ancestral Guardians. She uses Cacao and Sound Alchemy as a Heart gate opener to support profound healing, realizations and transformation.
