I Hate Models - Transcendental Fusion [RAWGEM1]

Renowned German DJ and producer Boris Brejcha is back with new track “House Music” featuring UK-based, indie pop trio Arctic Lake, out now via Ultra Records.

Coming off of his last release, “Spicy,” Boris Brejcha brings us “House Music.” Although the title is quite literal, this track is much more abstract and mysterious than you’d think. Featuring soft, high-pitched vocals and a steady background beat, this track is perfect for freestyle dancing and
just having a good time! An official video is also coming on release day, containing clips that were sent in by Brejcha’s fans of them dancing to the new track. In order to get these fan submissions, Boris did a month-long Instagram challenge and called for some special dance moves to be featured in the video.

In moments like that you just want to run away .. as fast as you can .. only to feel like you want to come back 5 minutes later..

Charlotte de Witte & Enrico Sangiuliano have come together to serve up a very personal remix of the hugely influential self-titled classic by Age Of Love. It lands on the original Belgian label Diki Records on August 13th.

Age Of Love wrote and released their most iconic track in 1990. It went on to become a stone-cold dance classic that inspired a whole trance movement that has endured throughout the years. 

The idea to remix 'Age Of Love' started taking shape when KNTXT boss Charlotte was in lockdown with esteemed Italian techno artist Enrico at the end of February last year. As soon as the track was finished, it was played in several live streams and the online community quickly fell in love. The remix bears all the hallmarks of both producers, who between them have a number of Beatport hits and have crafted everything from the darkest drums to the most emotional synths to great effect.

Say Charlotte and Enrico, "It's a very meaningful track for both of us, for various reasons, and it brings back many joyful memories. Remixing such a legendary track was a super fun thing to do, but we noticed how easily and spontaneously we could work together in the studio. We are beyond excited to finally unleash our remix to the world. And this at a time where the world finally seems to be going back to normal. There is no better time for a New Age Of Love. We're ready."

'Age Of Love' (Charlotte de Witte & Enrico Sangiuliano Remix) is a big, driving techno roller. It has heavyweight drums and stripped back percussion which leaves plenty of room for the ionic synth lead and spine-tingling vocals to ring out and really work the crowd into a trance. 

This fantastic remix brings a new perspective to one of dance music's most celebrated and influential tracks.

Following remixes from emerging Anjunadeep talents Leaving Laurel and Antic & Della, Luttrell presents the second remix package from his recent LP ‘Lucky Ones’, with German duo Digitalism and Australian native Alice Ivy adding to the collection of remixes.

Influential figures of the noughties electro and indie dance movement, Digitalism remixed legendary acts such as Daft Punk, Depeche Mode and The White Stripes. Making their Anjunadeep debut, the pair offer up two reworks of lead LP single ‘My Friend The Sun’. Gritty synths accompanied by futuristic sound design take the forefront in their ‘sound.wav’ remix, whilst their ‘ERROR 404' mix takes the pace up a notch for a pumping club rework.

Stepping onto the scene back in 2016 through Triple J’s coveted ‘Unearthed’ music discovery platform, Alice Ivy has continued to turn heads across her native Australia. Following remixes for Japanese Wallpaper and Vera Blue, Alice now add her twist to Luttrell’s ‘Universal Theory’. Coupling atmospheric melodies with an infectious low end groove, Alice’s remix packs a punch, reworking the original into a peak time dance floor moment.

Fur Coat’s @oddityrecordings label starts 2021 with a fresh edition of the acclaimed various artists “Odd Echoes Vol.4”. This instalment showcases some artists that are already known to the label, as well as many new additions to the family. 

Fur Coat’s commitment to their label over the last few years has seen the imprint amass a dedicated following and an ever growing list of respected and lauded releases. Utilising their Various Artists compilations, the duo have unearthed some extremely exciting talent in this world and given emerging artists a platform to exhibit their craft. 

Diving into the package we are greeted with the melodic and emotional sounds that Oddity has their recognisable stamp. Its clear though that each artist involved has developed their own signature sound and presents something unique to the VA. The first half is formed of well crafted tracks which ease us into the sound. Tracks the build and develop over time and help to kick start out musical exploration. 

In true Oddity style the second half of the package leans towards darker and more driving pieces. Casting the listeners mind to the dancefloors which the tracks were meant to be played on. It's a VA formed of 21 original tracks mostly from first-timers on the label, that all together solidify the identity of the series and sound of Oddity.
