Vex has really gone to work and revamped this original by Raid and their debut release on Free Drum & Bass Records. Giving this heavy neuro stomper a jungle inspired re-work on the breaks and cleverly repurposing the bass sounds to take this one down a more dancey rollers inspired outfit.

Meanwhile ’Told You’ sets a forward momentum with dreamy pads, filtered synths and a vocal refrain that drips in authenticity; it’s off kilter bass line sets the groove alongside a shuffled barrage of break beats & accompanying percussion which keeps things moving.

Closing track ’Sensation’ triumphantly rounds out the release with it’s nostalgic vocals, fizzy pads, and dominating technical assault of twisted midrange grit, layered alongside a weighty bass line!
