13 writers putting pen to paper, 65 musicians composing pieces inspired by their writing, and 26 visual artists tying everything together with a cover illustration. From April 23rd to May 13th, 2023, these 104 creatives came together with one goal: to tell a story. The result amounted to thirteen beautiful tracks, rich with emotion, excitement, and wonder.

Stories take on infinitely many forms. A child's drawing. A home-cooked meal. A recount of the day given by someone returning home to their spouse. They do not have to be written, nor spoken with any amount of poetry or decorative language; they simply exist. Here's to the stories we tell. Whether written, drawn, or sang, whether a fantastic fable or a solemn look into the human experience, they all carry weight. We have no greater obligation than to simply tell them in whatever way we know how. 

All proceeds from Storybook: Chapter 2 will be donated to Active Minds, an organization supporting mental health awareness and education for young adults.

all nighter volume 8 ended exactly 1 day before i moved out for university
this song was made in a mindset i am no longer in, a vulnerable state where all i wanted was to no longer feel that i was leaving everyone i loved behind. this song is an affirmation that they're still here, they're not far, and i'm still here. admittedly this was probably way too personal for a 24 hour charity comp but i am still incredibly grateful to FORM for letting me stream and express this feeling <3

Lux Tenebris (meaning ‘Light in Darkness’) is a blend of contemporary dark and ambient electronica with classical overtones. The work evolves towards the climax of 'eternal return', where the light returns. 

Cinematic and richly layered — evoking both shadow and illumination. Exploring how light and darkness shape our lives. I was interested in capturing the luminescence of life and the idea that beauty can be found even in the darkest places. 

Originally composed for a dance work of the same name in 2016 by choreographer Rafael Bonachela, commissioned by Sydney Dance Company.
