PREMIERE: Naux - Birtney

We are very pleased to bring you the very first mix in the brand new Grooveology series. For the debut we head out to the beautiful Balearic Islands, Mallorca to be exact for a mix curated by Spa In Disco Records Boss Fran Deeper. A long time DJ & producer himself, Fran favours the sundrenched funk filled nu disco sound, the same sound that he so excellently displays from his label.

Spa In Disco has been releasing music for just under 10 years now and has seen original productions and remixes from some massive names in the business. These include Hotmood, DJ Rocca, Adam Nova, Get Down Edits, C. Da Afro & Brothers In Arts. Bruin White is a house and disco DJ specialising in the sounds of nu disco, soulful/piano house, and 90s rave. Passionate about 70s-to-present music, Bruin takes audio seriously which has led him to playing at Shoreditch's Ballie Ballerson and Birmingham's coveted Mama Roux's Discotheque, as well as having a residency at the Rhu Bar nightclub in his hometown of Basingstoke. With musical selection that brings out the best in disco, funk and the origins of house, alongside a mixing style greatly influenced by the likes of Louie Vega and Dave Lee, each set's purpose is to brighten every listener's day (or night).
