African Roots

Matt Halls aka maat, is a Cape Town based DJ/producer whose involvement with music has spanned more than a decade. His musical journey commenced at 7, when he started experimenting with drums and pretty much anything that could produce sounds. Before long he was playing drums for a local band. From here, completing his grades in drums and in Music Theory. Then quickly advanced to DJing and producing electronic music.
